While a smaller pair of normal headphones works, my son absolutely loves that he now has his own wireless headphones that are made for his size! Setup is really quick and easy: hold the power button until you hear the audio prompt that the headphones are ready to pair, select the headphones from your Bluetooth menu on your PC/console, and you're paired! If you don't want to use the battery, you can just use the included AUX cable (which included volume control). Battery life is rated for a little over 22 hours, but your mileage will vary. It's pretty close in my son's usage. Thankfully you can use the headphones while they're charging. == BOTTOM LINE == If you're looking for wireless headphones for your child, these are a solid option. They can be used with any console, PC, and any other device with a standard headphone jack (when using the included AUX cable).

The JLab Audio - JBuddies Play Gaming Headset is a solid option when looking for a multi-use solution for younger children (I'd recommend 8 and under). They're small, light and comfortable to wear for extended periods. The option of bluetooth or analog, and the included mic make them very versatile. The built-in volume level limit is a reassurance for parents of very young children. However, as familiarity with tech grows, their expectations may expand beyond this offering - that will definitely differ from family to family. My young grandsons enjoyed them a lot, but felt the analog volume controls were a little tricky (probably trying to make them louder). They also felt the bass was weak. On the other hand, the headset paired easily with various Bluetooth devices and, as a result, was helpful for a number of use scenarios. This makes the JLab Audio - JBuddies Play Gaming Headset a good, affordable solution for younger children.

Grandkids enjoy headset while gaming on iphone in vehicle while travling and it does not annoy us while driving. Headset connects wireless blutooth to cell phones but you have to connect cable to controller on xbox. Sound on both music and gaming is adequate but not great. Light weight and comfortable is the best feature. It is a plearsure while driving you don't hear the grandkids game. My wife uses this headset via cable connection to her plantronics wireless phone in our home office and it works great she enjoys the small footprint and light weight.

Bought for our kids to use with there nintendo switch lites. Sound is poor and the mix won't work with there device.

Unfortunately these didn’t fit. They are more for kids than teenagers.

The sound is really low, which is should be louder

Bought it because it was supposed to be Nintendo switch compatible. Doesn’t say anything about having to buy a transmitter for the switch in order to connect via Bluetooth. Also poor instructions. I would have never figured it out if I had searched the net.

We bought this item when my son started online school back in the beginning of August and now it September and just in one month these headphone has broke. The sync button is stuck and doesn't work anymore. Do not recommend these for everyday use.

This unit works great and is the perfect size for my 7 year old son. The sound is good and has a limiter to keep it from getting loud enough to damage hearing. It is light and easy to adjust. My only concern is that it doesn't seem all that sturdy and I'm afraid a drop, or sitting on it, may easily break it. It is nice it hooks directly to the Xbox controller and does not need charged.

Bought this for my two sons for their switch, and neither of the microphones work. They gave me a 2 week window to return it even though I bought as a gift for Easter. What a joke.

These would have been great but they didn’t work straight out of the box. We returned them and picked up another pair for $5 from a local store and they are perfect for our 8 year old.

This was ubber garbage. I ended up tossing in trash bin. Low performance and waste of money. My kid hated it.I'm disabled so refund trip is out of the question.
