(NOTE: This item was a gift, and the following review comes from comments made by the gift recipient.) The film provides an accurate portrayal of how Steve Jobs started Apple Computers. What I especially liked is that the film does not sugar coat how Steve Jobs was as an entrepreneur and innovator. He was obviously a very successful entrepreneur however he largely neglected his obligations as a human being, mainly his daughter. He refused to recognize her existence until later in life when she was in college. Ashton Kutcher does a great job portraying Steve Jobs all the way down to his walk. The opening scene, which depicts Steve Jobs introducing the iPod at one of his infamous Apple Town Hall Meetings is priceless. You really believe it is Steve Jobs up there--that's how effective Ashton Kutcher is in portraying the Apple founder. The film does not not touch on at all Steve Jobs pancreatic cancer diagnosis that led to his early death. I felt this was a great oversight since it would have perhaps allowed viewers to see the emotional side to a man who was so driven like a machine. Instead it ends with him quoting something like "The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do." I felt a little cheated by this ending since again we did not get to really see Steve Jobs, the man, the person as he battled his disease. However, there is one brief moment where the viewer gets a glimpse into Steve Jobs, the person (his vulnerabilities) when he is ousted as the Apple CEO and returns to his parents garage where the whole concept of Apple began. He breaks down and is consoled by his father. Ashton Kutcher played the Steve Jobs character to a tee. He is not taken as a serious actor by Hollywood which is a shame since he nailed this performance. The Special Features are ok. It includes a featurette on the "Legacy of Steve Jobs." There is also a commentary but I find these to be annoying and distracting to the viewer. I wish there could have been more raw footage and say an image gallery from the early conceptualization days of Apple in Steve Jobs' parents garage. The movie does portray the time periods well. You feel as if you are really back in the 1970s when Steve was a student at Reed College. The musical tracks also help to transform the viewer back to an earlier decade. Plot is good but seemed a bit rushed. Before you know it Apple Computers is founded. Perhaps not enough lead up to this although the film does seem to cover the "A-ha" moments that led to Apple's development as well as how Steve marketed the computer to a world of skeptics.

The movie was pretty good. I was hoping it would be better. Seemed kinda short and glossed over a lot of stuff. Maybe I'm old school, but I liked Pirates of Silicon Valley better. May have to dust that off and watch it now. Still it is worth watching. Kutcher does a good job with Jobs.

This was an excellent movie in my opinion. I never realized that Kutcher would be a decent serious actor. As for the blu ray itself, it played well as expected. Delivery was faster than expected, and I will continue to order movies from Best Buy.

A good movie with a lot of insight, but I kept comparing it to The Social Network which it doesn’t hold up against very well.

One of my favorites and Ashton Kutcher gives an incredibe performance capturing the many intricacies within Steve Jobs. Outstanding supporting cast that tells the tale of the founder of Apple's near demise and return to prominence. Highly recommend

I enjoyed this movie. Watched it right after reading Steve Jobs' biography. The movie wasn't perfect, but I felt Ashton portrayed Jobs exactly how I felt he was written in the biography.

I am glad a movie was made from the book. I think they could have found some different actors/actresses to play some of the parts of the characters.

Was a good movie to watch and and to my collection.

Jobs left me a little more lost then before watching it I'm not sure how much of it is close to true but it was definitely worth a watch for me since I have the social network which is based on facebook (another film in which one won't truly know just how factual the story portrayed is, my grading is just based on the uncertainty behind the facts/story that this film illustrated not from my shopping experience with best buy.

I saw this movie in the theaters and had to get it on Blu-ray/DVD/Digital copy. Great movie to watch if you wanna know how Apple got started.

I wanted to watch this movie since I love the Apple brand! It was definitely a good feel toward who the man was that helped create Apple.

Not as good as the other Jobs movie, but still great!

Jobs was a movie about Steve Jobs how he made it to the big times.
