    Disappointed

With a tripod that could hang from things or be stable on uneven surfaces, I was hoping to get some interesting shots! But unfortunately, it seems unless your camera's tripod hole is centered (or close to it) on the bottom of your camera, the tripod won't stay standing. I have a very small Sony camera (listed as a recommended product below); its weight is listed as 7.1 oz. on its Best Buy page. The packaging for this tripod says it can hold cameras weighing up to 11.5 oz. My camera is well within the weight range, but because the tripod hole in on the left side rather than centered, the tripod wouldn't stay standing, not even on my desk. It's not worth risking my camera, so it's going back to the store.

this product is supposed to do a lot, and it does do a lot in a sub par fashion. you want your camera to stand up? it'll take a good min to do so and will probably eventually fall. want to wrap it around something or hang it? you can after tying it, looping it, then jumping through a ring of fire. and it will definitely not keep its position. honestly everyone has these kinds of tripods, but they're not practical or user friendly.

Its a great product, but I feel like the more you use it the worse it gets. After a while the ball bearings at the top get loose and its hard to maintain the desired position. Not sure yet since I have been using it for a month only. But it definitely feels more loose then when I bought it. I think the more expensive aluminum one is a better choice especially if you have a heavier DSLR on it.

Not Bad - Serves Its Purpose

For a small and lightweight tripod, this does the trick. I use it primarily for holding up my iPhone and it's small enough for that purpose. The overall stand isn't the most secure as you can imagine due to its flexible nature, but that's the pro/con depending on how you use it. Overall, it does the trick and can hold up phone or point and shoot without too much trouble.

    Average mini tripod

Is useful but not reliable, very fragile and not good for heavy cameras. I own a Olympus Tough camera and it holds the weight but is not too flexible to put it on things like pipes or hand rails. I mainly got this to use it while working out or to just put it on my desk, works but it could be better. The price isn't bad and is a very average mini tripod.

This is a basic tripod. It's good for small POVs.

This is a basic tripod....nothing fancy. it is also designed for very light POV cameras. The quick release is helpful, but there is no leveling ball. therefore you either must view the camera image through your phone, an optional camera viewfinder (i.e. GOPro) or take your chances. It's rugged, but you get what you pay for.

    It's tiny

Though it is a very useful and handy product, it is much smaller than I assumed from the pictures and even reviews. I traded it in for a larger but cheaper version, which in my opinion works well. In addition to this purchase, I also bought the phone attachment with swivel percision or something like that.

    Good build quality but...

Overall build quality is excellent for the price but for anything but the smallest camera it is not stable. Purchased it to use with a Sony DSC/HX-80 and when the lens extends it actually causes the tripod to tip over. Works well for Neistating but not as a tripod unless your using a GoPro or similar sized camera.

Works OK, the mount on the top for the camera can be a bit wobbily. Though it uses a slide mount that detaches from the tripod to attach to the camera first, then slide it onto the tripod mount, it still wobbles. This one is meant for small, lightweight cameras, I would say 10 ounces or less. 10 might be pushing it.

Package is a bit confusing on this one. It clearly states that it can only hold 'X' amount of pounds, but shows a picture of it holding up a sizable DSLR on the package. Between that and the sales associates advice, I was assured this would hold up my camera. Foolish. Should have stuck with the obvious and left this for real compacts.

We ended up not using this product. We were planning on traveling to Europe and was not sure if there would be many places high enough to place this or to wrap it around. I'm sure it would have worked with the camera we have, but decided we did not need the extra item for our backpacking trip.

It’s okay, but a little too small to hold my phone as a desktop tripod. It could be useful to wrap around an object but not stable enough to stand on its own and hold my phone (iPhone 8+).

Interesting accessory, wierd to carry around

The best accessory a camera can have is something compact enough to be attached to the camera, not get in the way of taking a picture, and be ready to use at a moments notice. This product doesn't meet any of those criteria. Felt like a good idea when I bought it, but its oversold in terms of practical use.

So this is a pretty good Vlogging accessory if you are wanting to get into that. HOWEVER...It isn't the one that Casey Neistat uses so if you are wanting that one do not get this because this is a smaller version! But it still isn't a bad accessory for a compact Vlogging setup.

This product is good if you are looking for a small tripod. I needed a bigger one and this was much smaller than I realized. Purchased online so didn't realize the size. Easy return to local Best Buy.

I bought this to use for a GoPro camera and it worked great for that. After awhile I accidentally snapped one of the joints, so now the tension is off. I would like it to have been of better quality, but you get what you pay for.

I can’t 100% give my 2 cent about this product. I was only able to use it for 10 mins right out the box before it snapped on me. Maybe it was a defect but it didn’t hold up for me.

This is great to carry in your pocket, or bag for small camera use. I have a Sony A600, and with the small lense on it, it will barely hold the camera up, but it will work....

For my use, it was great, however it says there is a weight limit of 8oz, well I would say it should be adjusted to 5oz since most cameras weight around that.
