The movie has a bit of interesting research on 19th century fiction, particularly by Jules Verne, which is the basis for the story, which is however, entirely new, and had big name actors to boot. The story is creative and family friendly, if with its occasional gross side (Hollywood can't seem to leave a clean story alone). I think it's worth the risk!

If you like 3D movies, you'll love this one. There are some amazing 3D scenes. The actors are great. If you're a fan of The Rock, you'll love him in this movie. Although the movie is different than the first one, you still kind of know where it's going. However, don't let that deter you from seeing it...especially in 3D!!

I liked the actors but the story was just medicore

I like the "Rock" so I thought this would be good. It showed how a step dad and step son got to know each other and respect each other-I think was good. I never saw the first movie-so that might have helped me get into this one.

Another family feature brought to you by Dwayne Johnson. Its a good time for all ages and no one will go away unhappy. Butter up the popcorn and settle in with the kids for a fantasy island adventure that includes giant lizards and bumblebees.

Excellent bargain for this family featured movie. It contained moments that allowed you to experience various emotions...from lauther, scary and jumpy...down to sad and worried moments. Enjoyable from beginning to end. Left us satisfied, yet still yearning for MORE! Always a treat to see Dwayne Johnson, a great very handsome and outstanding actor.

Plot not great and young boy not at all likeable at beginning. As long as you realize what you're getting and just enjoy it for what it is ( a fun relaxing way to kill some time) it is a very enjoyable movie to watch in 3D.

We had movie night with friends and the young ones (4 years old) thought the movie was scary. However, the movie has suspense and wonder and is enjoyable for most older kids.

This movie was pretty good. Not incredible and a little cheesy. But it did keep our kids attention and was enjoyable.

Never a dull moment in this adventure flick starring The Rock. It has everything: humor, incredible sights, music, young love and did I say The Rock! You'll watch it over & over again.

Kept your interest, good for families to watch. fairly good characterizations. Dwayne Johnson is surprising with his talents these days. Good.

Good story, well acted. Blu-Ray copy came with the digital version that was easy to redeem. No issues with the product, arrived quickly, packaged well.

While not Academy Award material, it's an excellent family movie with outstanding 3D. This is one that was actually shot that way instead of converted and it shows!

Journey 2 was considerably better than the first part. Action, comedy and adventure all come together in the making of this film plus it doesn't hurt to have Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as one of the leads.
