I liked this movie. It was about a real person, with a dysfunctional, loving, flawed family who made it big with an invention. Joy had to defend her patent & investment from interlopers and family alike. She showed real chutzpah. You want to cheer at the end.

J-Law and others hit the mark again in this based on a true story dramatization. Well acted and overall uplifting but can be frustrating when you get pulled into her character and just want things to finally go her way. A great story of never giving up.

Good movie, but not a favorite Jennifer Lawrence movie, but she and Bradley Cooper work well together. It is based on a true story and well worth watching.

I never knew who made this mop, and all the problems she faced throughout the process. And her persistence to make things right and her rise to fame.

Jennifer Lawrence is such a superb actress and she really carries the film through. Once again she has teamed up with director David O Russell and made a hit!

Didn't know what to expect with this movie. All I could say is that I loved it! Jennifer Lawrence and AL Pacino were great. Thanks to this movie I now know how the magic mop was invented after watching the commercial so many times as a kid.

Enjoyed watching as the movie has substance in both acting and script. Laughed and had tears in my eyes, a little kooky at times but families are like that!

i knew going in that this was a semi biographical film, and knew they were going to embellish, but the story is interesting, especially some of the acting.

This movie was actually pretty darn good. The special effects are outstanding and the story is solid. I would definitely recommend checking it out!

Interesting, good movie, not disappointed that I bought it. However, I bought it the week of release and 2 weeks later it was $5 less. That annoyed me.

I wanted a feel good movie so I plugged this one in. I fit the bill for the most part. A few twists in this and business was shown as it can be.

Jennifer Lawrence, tremendous performance again. She is young , yet at a Streep level of acting. Story of Miracle Mop single mom inventor. Same nucleus cast and director as Silver Lining , American Hustle. You can't miss this one.

Hope filled story of triumph in the face of adversity. Jennifer Lawrence has a way of conveying emotion beautifully. DeNero knows his way around a camera too. Worth watching

This movie was good. The actors all did a great job with their roles and it was based on a true story, so I learned a little bit of history.

It's refreshing to watch a movie that has a bit of a story to it rather than all the usual effects driven movies. I thought that this was a pretty good comedy-drama flick. Jennifer Lawrence was really good in this as well.

I enjoyed this and at the price point of 6.99 it was really hard to pass up. Better than Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle.

Learned a lot about this true story, very interesting to see what Joy overcame. A little long, but still well acted and worth a watch.

You learn to push toward what you want in life and that you have to go through obstacles to get there, but it's possible to get there.
