It works great as a replacement - it's helpful to be able to get just the side that broke as well.

Best thing about this is that it was in stock, and still is. The device paired well with the separate left joycon which I also purchased and I have had no problems. This is only half of a controller for single player games like Zelda, but works for a multiplayer game such as Mario Kart.

Perfect addition to the switch for multiple players. Just be careful when buying and pay attention to whether you are getting a right or left controller. They could do a little better with visualizing the difference in my opinion

Exactly what it is, a joy-con. It's the same one that the Nintendo Switch comes with. If you need an extra one or a replacement, any OEM colored joy-con will do.

This little controller is slick! Absolutely amazing how responsive and accurate it is along with impressive battery life on a single charge.

When my controller broke, I knew I wouldn’t find a remote that was just as good as the original. However this one was. I thought I would have to buy a pair but thankfully they were also sold separately. Only found that at BestBuy.

My son lost the original one that came with the console. Brought this as a replacement. Safe to say he wont lose this one.

Bought this controller open box and it was in great condition no complaints at all as it does what it is supposed to do.

My son got this jammed on the controller that came with our switch by putting it on the wrong way. Don't ask me how he got it on that way and why I can't get it off. Anyways great you have the option to buy just one side or both. Works flawlessly with the existing controller

If you have an issue with your right Joy Con and don’t want to buy a set, this is a good direction to go. I did not need a left Joy Con. I just experienced issue with my right joy con.

Good controller and can take a beating from my four kiddos. It might be a lil small for adult hands. Might want to purchase the Pro controller.

I showed up to the store on a Sunday and to my bad luck they were out of 2 packs. Wow I couldn't believe it we finally get a switch and now they are out of controllers. We Just got Mario Kart and everybody was ready to play. But luckily me the store manager price matched and I was able to get to single packs for the price of the 2 pack. Twenty dollar difference, yes thats right they are 50 a piece separate. So take care of those controllers .
