It was nice to get some history about Q.V.C. and how she struggled but never gave up. She rose above it all even when everyone and everything tried to take advantage of or ruin her. I also like that her ex stood by her.

Jennifer Lawrence has made many good movies over a few years, and this one confirms she will be around for a long time. It is a quirky movie about a woman who found success and proved to us that it can be done.

Purchased this movie on 4K UHD because it was available for the same price as Blu-Ray to have a few new movies in 4K UHD to watch on my new 4K UHD HDR TV and 4K Blu-Ray. Not a bad movie for the price I paid.

So i got this because i wanted something to watch. If you like Jennifer Lawrence yes go ahead and watch this movie. I was surprised that it was good. The story was well written and entire cast was entertaining.

Not the best effort from David O. Russell but a great watch for the performances itself. Jennifer Lawrence is great at engaging the audience to care about each of her characters and this is no exception.

My wife adores Jennifer Lawrence's acting, and has yet to find a movie with her in it that she doesn't love, and this one is no exception. Bradley Cooper and Robert DeNiro also give great performances.

Excellent moive, which garnered several academy award nominations. Character development was well done and made the moive come to life. This is an excellent example what a movie from Hollywood once was, an entertaining, thought provoking movie, with great characters performed by great actors.

Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper did it again !! I think that this is a fun holiday movie to watch, especially at Christmas time. Sit back and relax and turn on your DVD player. Enjoy.

Jennifer Lawrence dominates this movie, and she does a great job of portraying a young woman climbing out of humble beginnings to become a successful business leader. In the process she puts up with an unsupportive father and sister and with other businessmen who are trying to cheat her.

Joy was directed by the same person who directed Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle. Based on a true story. Well done movie that was semi accurate to the woman that they portrayed.

This movie is very funny and yet it provides some positive motivation for people watching it to be fiercely independent and committed to changing your life for the better. It is very well acted and the script is intelligent, funny, and realistic. I would definitely recommend this movie.

good true story of the mop queen. jennifer is a top actress now, though DeNiro is becoming boring to watch as the semi-cranky father in too many movies, he sgould find real movie parts.

This is a nice inspirational movie, so couldn't resist getting it when offered for sale by this website. It was delivered in time for Christmas and was packaged well. The digital copy was a nice unexpected bonus, since it was unclear from the artwork if one was included.

If you are a "QVC" fan, you’ll love this movie. I saw it in the theater and felt lukewarm about it, but I decided to buy it and add it to my movie collection. Funny thing, I loved it the second time around and I am glad I purchased it. Jennifer Lawrence is great as always.

This movie is a good make it out on your own story. I enjoyed Silver Lining Playbook and American Hustle. Although the story telling and the direction of this movie is way different than how those two films were made it's still an enjoyable movie. This one encompasses on how family issues and the work grind can get in the way of what someones dreams for their life. Yet later on in life the person realizes that and just takes a handle of their own path in life.

Jennifer Lawrence and Robert DeNiro make a complicated, strange but believable relationship in the film which carries through most of the film. The story progresses nicely to the not-quite expected finale. 4K quality picture brings the movie to greater heights.

A little slow to start and had to stick with it. But the movie did get going. I think I would have preferred more detail at the end of the movie, and less in the start up.

This movie kept our attention and was interesting to watch. I wouldn't say it was the best movie that either of the main actors have been in, but it was worth the watch.

Great movie with an outstanding performance by Jennifer Lawrence. 4K transfer combined with a good sound system will give you close to the movie theater experience.

Wasn't too excited at the start. But the actors and their chemistry brought this up to a different level. The cutthroat nature of the business world really shines here!
