Jump Force is a game that should appeal to most anime fans. Theres a character for everyone to like here. The roster is huge. That's probably the best thing about the game. The fighting element is good, but it is too easy to block big attacks and not take damage. On the bad side of things, the loading times are a bit long. The game also seems to crash when online sometimes. I actually only tried online once and I was unable to have an enjoyable session. Despite that, the single player mode is worth playing through at least once.

The game itself is good if you just want to play with characters with friends. The story mode is okay but it isnt perfect. The accessories for your CAC are expensive and the missions dont really help with that. The fighting in offline mode with a friend is good. I would not get this game for its story or CAC because they are not the best. If you just want to fight with a friend then it is a good game for that.

It's not a US release! It's in Japanese language, not the appropriate English dub it should be for this region! No localization yet they released this to an English speaking country, for the full retail value? That should tell you everything you need to know right there. It has multiple holes in the storie's voice overs, where its all text like a gameboy game. You're actually reading in 2019 on XB1X..like wow really..this was $100? You're basically reading a google translate game. There is no gear system for CAC. Loading screens take FOREVER! The fighters stand around before the match just like in the beta lol. You cannot get rewards in offline mode, even if you're online, which forces you to get xbox live. You cannot play the game you just paid $99 for, if you don't submit to their legal terms. They literally deny you access to ANY part of the game, until you agree with the terms of and conditions, weather you agree or not. This should be illegal considering video games are NON-REFUNDABLE! This is a MASSIVE violation of consumer rights. How dare they force compliance after getting paid! The story doesn't set waypoints, leaving you to run around until you find an exclamation mark above someones head, to progress the story! You also can't skip any part of the story cinematics..which is bad considering how dry they get. You also don't get any money for fighting the cpu in offline "1v1" mode. There is no 1v1 mode only 3v3 all the time, which makes the game get stale very fast, by exhausting all possible teams early. You don't have alternative outfits for characters. There is no music select option. Offline the lobby is very empty, compared to dbxv2 that generates loads of Ai avatars. The story is terrible, often times characters are standing in one pose..and the camera pans different angles..which feels lifeless. The $99 ver has promotional writing all over the case..making it look cheap, and there is no steelbook..or even premium boxart for your extra cash! The frame rates are juddery..and looks bad on My XB1X. Overall, just play jstars victory vs+ because this game is a total waste of money. Like honestly coming from jstars, I'd rather play it instead. This game was put together VERY poorly, and there's no excuse for it. The offline combat is fun. You can fight up to 6 CAC before having to delete one. You do have unique characters..but overall jumpforce is a massive fail. The lack of so much ESPECIALLY english dub makes it clear, this game was a very rushed cash grab. If you like anime you'll have fun, but I'd wait until this hame is $19.99, because that's all the effort they put in to the design of this game. Those who game online only might not care, but to everyone else you'll find all these flaws..and then some. Man what a letdown! I would totally pass if I were you.

Really good gameplay and fighting mechanics. Only problem I have with it is that the loading times are kind of long, lack of playable female characters, and unlike Dragonball Fighter Z, you cannot create a lobby for you and your friends and continuously battle.

It’s unreal to see all these characters fighting together/against each other. The graphic is nice and I like the super moves it features for each character. I only wish there is a story mode.

the fighting experience is overall good the storyline could use a lot of work and load times for online matches could be improved but overall its a decent fighting game

If you're a fan of anime and 3d fighting games you should give this game a try! It's a lot of fun! The story isn't the greatest but the combat itself is a blast!

The combat and graphics are great. You can tell that they put a lot of time into it. But the storyline is not as well put together. Seems like it was rushed.

Jump Force is a fighting game crossover that brings together characters from popular Shonen Jump anime/manga series, including the popular Dragon Ball, Naruto, and One Piece franchises as well as some lesser known ones, like Fist of the North Star and City Hunter. It's a great idea in theory, but the roster isn't as varied as it could be (the big franchises have 6 fighters each, while others like Black Clover and My Hero Academia only get 1). Some of the characters look disturbing in the Unreal engine as they went for a more realistic look rather than something that's actually anime looking. Combat is fun, if a bit repetitive (think Xenoverse or Ultimate Ninja Storm), but the loading times are atrocious and the story cutscenes look awful. The game just came out, so there's time to patch it, but probably not worth buying in at this point. Especially since the upcoming DLC characters that you get with this version aren't even known yet.

Very much a sequel/spin off from J-Stars. The game takes some of the most popular characters from Shonen Jump Manga/Anime and lets you have them fight. Game is overall basic and simple with the option to create your own custom character. Game is beautiful and worth adding to any collection.

Game play is awesome. My only complaint and I wouldn’t even call it complaint just a little different. Everything is in Japanese

The only flaw i would see is that some of its language are in japanese, theres a huge lag from loading before the game set, other than that were enjoying it.

Think dragon ball budokai tenkaichi but with the dragon ball xenoverse online hub. The online battles are awesome, the character creator is awesome, and the character roster is awesome! I can't wait ti see what characters they put in the character pass.

Basically just played through the tutorial. Got to the point where you pick a team and stopped. The visuals don't bother me as much as others. Never watched dragon ball in Japanese so was completely thrown by Goku's voice.
