It covers teen pregnancy and the choices a young makes. It also covers her relationship with her family, friends and the boy who got her pregnant.

Would allow mature teens to watch. Some might think it would be cool to get pregO at 16.

    My favorite movie last year

I went into the theatre last year not knowing what to expect from this film. I knew only of it being about a teen pregnancy. I was not familiar with Ellen Page or Michael Cera. From the opening credits I was hooked. Catchy song and clever opening credit sequence. The movie just gets better from there. Teen pregnancy is a tough subject to portray on film but they pull it off. Not a lot of people can conect to a teen charachter that is pregnant, but they really make you feel for the Juno character. With her humor and smart wit you get emotionally involved with her and you really want everything to go well for her in the end. Also interesting were the adoptive couple (Jason Bateman and Jennifer Garner). Some people criticize Garner's character of being cold. I didn't feel that way at all. I felt she was in desperation to have a child and she wanted everything to be perfect so Juno would want to choose her to be the adoptive parent. She was a sad lonely housewife that felt incomplete not having a child in their home. Just look at the scene where she interacted with her friend's child and you could see she wasn't a cold person. I would and have reccomended this movie to everyone. One of the years best. I wish it had won an Oscar for Ellen Page and Best Picture. If you like the music in the film I also highly reccomend the soundtrack.

Teen Pregnancy in the Modern World

Diablo Cody, in writing from the point-of-view of teenagers, achieves where most other teenage films fail--she drops the violent, drug-ladened culture of teen angst to the inconceivable extreme for a much more heartfelt, sincere portrayal of teenagers with regard to pregnancy. The characters in "Juno" face adult problems with acute awareness and matured sensibilities. And that it's written, in utmost originality during the film's first ten minutes, in today's teenage slang gives the film even more of a sense of its own individuality, that it's not trying to be anything more than a film about average, everyday teenagers you'd encounter anywhere at any moment. Ellen Page is excellent as the title character, and Michael Cera continues his climb atop the teen comedy scene with uncanny timing and wit. Jason Bateman nails his role as a father-to-be searching to recapture his own teenage existence when befriending Juno, and Jennifer Garner, his wife in the film, as an obsessive mom-in-waiting, who wants absolutely everything to be right once the child is born and adopted by her. All-in-all, this is a great film worthy of purchase. It takes its viewers to places no other teenage film has, and will most assuredly be a blueprint to future teen-based films for years to come.

    A fun watch anytime

I thought the movie was a lot of fun. To me, it's the kind of movie that you can just sit down and watch if it's on TV and not care if you've missed the beginning. I remember really enjoying the movie when I first watched it. I ended up buying it on DVD and watching it over and over again. The reason why I chose the characters as great and not so great is because it can be a love/hate relationship with them. You either really like the characters or you hate them. I personally really enjoyed all the characters and the performances, but I can see why some would get annoyed with them as well. Overall, I really did like this movie.

Well, to qualify my 'Con' I'ma guy ok...but I'm open to other things. This movie was actually recommended to me from a female friend. I looked at the cover and saw this pregnant teenaged girl and thought not for me. But again I was open to it, so I watched it with her. Suprisingly I found that this movie was quite entertaining. Your average middle class teenaged girl with an odd personality who gets pregnant way too early and her corky boyfriend strugle with their relationship and everyday teen problems with a tiwst. I recommend this movie

    Best Movie of 2007

A heart-felt dramedy about a young teenager who decides instead of abortion to give her baby to adoptive parents. Her journey through the pregnancy is both hilarious and painful with a very poignant storyline that shows the reality of teen pregnancy without supporting the pro-choice/pro-life more but introducing both as possibilities. If anything, watch this movie for Ellen Page's Oscar nominated performance. She's a rising star and you can see her shine here.

    More Than Expected

Excellent movie. It appears at first to be another Napoleon Dynamite, but it is really much more complex and enjoyable as the story progresses. Screen writer Diablo Codey really gives the character of Juno such a rich and interesting personality, one cannot help but both laugh and cringe at what they are watching. My only two complaints were some obvious plot innaccuracies and the fact that I only saw it in theatres once! I can't wait for it to be released.

Compared to a lot of movies out there, Juno does bring something different to the table. The movie addresses issues regarding teen pregnancy and a lot of what people in that situation go through. I think this film portrays a lot of those instances where someone deals with changes resulting from being pregnant without taking away from the reality that the person is still young. It's a really good movie and I highly recommend it.

I saw this movie when it was at the theater. This is a great movie. I loved the humor in it. I think the main reason why i love it is because it relates to a "normal" person's life. It also reminded me of knocked up, 40 year old virgin, superbad, and forgetting Sarah Marshall. All excellent movies. I also enjoyed the extra features on the 2nd disc. Ellen Page and Michale Cera have chemistry in this movie. Great cast!

I just bought this movie and this is the first time that I have seen it since I saw it in the theatre last year. And I must say that it is just as good on the small screen if not better! Juno is one of those movies that come along that you just can't get enough of. The plot, characters and even the music are what make this movie and everybody can enjoy this movie which will have you laughing from beginning to end!

Not only is this movie the best I have seen in a while it also comes loaded with extra features. On top of all that it comes with a digital copy that you can load on to your computer for use with a Ipod or something similar. The commentary was quite good. It gave information about the screenwriter and juicy tidbits about the cast. If you have not seen it buy it. If you have you will not be disappointed.

This film is absolutely amazing. Juno Mcguff is a perfectly written character played to perfection by Ellen Page. Diablo Cody has a strong unique voice and that voice is the backbone of this film. This film shows us a Diablo Cody world. The only complaint that I have is a minor one. Some of the scenes between Jason Bateman and Ellen Page made me feel very uncomfortable, but it is such a small complaint that I can't really hold it against the film as a whole.
