Way better than 3! Runs smooth as can be, fun as can be. Much better effort this time around.

I am a huge fan of the Just Cause series, and this one does not disappoint. I've been playing this for over a week now and love it. If you enjoyed any of the previous Just Cause games, then you should pick this up. Avalanche Studios has added a few new features, such as moving your militia to control and guard areas, but they have essentially kept the game the same as the others...which is great. You play as Rico Rodriguez in this open world game and are trying to liberate another 3rd World Country from Dictatorship and Outside Interference. The game has awesome guns, helicopters, fighter jets, tanks, etc for you to use cause Chaos in the world. If you like games where you can just run around and go crazy, then this is definitely for you.

Just Cause 4 looked great in the promotions with the new weather effects. Unfortunately the game released with several issues that should have been fixed day one. If you liked Just Cause 3 you'll have fun with 4 just don't expect a step up from the third installment. The game is mindless fun and you can get lost for hours inventing your own stunts. One thing that missing is the destruction from Just Cause 3. There just doesn't feel like as much stuff to blow up. I hope the developers patch the game, but if support for 3 is any indication I wouldn't hold my breath. If you played any of the other games you know what you're in for, and that isn't all bad.

Fun game, good story line. Im very happy with this game. I can go at my own pace and it keeps me coming back. Curious to see what happens next and new fun items to play with.

Got a great deal on this gold edition. This is the best in the series. You get more functionality out of your grapple hook to instigate massive destruction. The game world may suffer from some pop up but it is crazy detailed. Also, we finally get radio stations for the vehicles. You can find npc's having little parties/cookouts and listening to these stations on boom boxes. Also, every weapon has a fun secondary fire. It runs great on the one X. I highly recommend this game for any open world fans.

The story is good but ultimately you play this for the blasts, mayhem and rush of destroying everything. Fun game

I've been playing the Just Cause series since the first game was released. LOVED JC2, and enjoyed JC3, even though it had some issues. Just Cause 4 is a MESS. There is SO much wrong with this game, I wouldnt be able to get to it all here. (Google problems, and you'll find them). My biggest issues with this game arent visual, its the gameplay. JC2/3 worked because it was fun running around and blowing things up. JC4 isnt a whole lot of fun doing that. Its the most fun in the game, but its not as fun as 2/3. The world is large, and there is a LOT of land area. But that isnt necessarily a good thing. The world seems lifeless and dead. JC2/3 both had an "alive" feeling, and beauty to the world(s), which JC4 just doesnt have. There are insane restrictions on ammunition, a weapon drop, drops with only 2 magazines. So youre constantly swapping out weapons from enemies or calling in nee drops. Gets old VERY fast. The "busy work" they have you do in this game is boring, easy, and tedious. The developers took away liberating settlements!! That was the best part of JC2/3! Now there are settlements to blow stuff up in, but theydont count towards anything but Chaos points. You cant blow up bridges, or trains (easily). Enemy AI isnt the best, theyre quite stupid (flying/driving into random stuff duringnon-fighting times), but when you're fighting them, they are on their game, and there are TONS of them. It can make things quite difficult at first. But you learn to play in a style that works. If you must buy this game, wait until its $20 or under. And even then, i wouldnt say its worth it. Fins a used copy of JC2 or 3 and play those. JC2 is the best of the series, but JC3 was tons of fun for me to play, especially with the rocket boosted wingsuit (which JC4 also doesnt have). Save your money. PS - makes me sad to post such a poor review of a game I've been eagerly awaiting. :(

I have played a good amount of this game and it is pretty good. Movement is fluid and smooth with all items such as wing suit and parachute and everything else. It looks good and I havent had any issues with the game at all

Heard a lot about this game and the series. This is my first experience with Just Cause and it's pretty fun. You can get caught up doing nonsense and wonder where the time went. It can get repetitive at times. Best bet is to get it on sale.

This is my first ever Just Cause game, only prior experience I have with this developer was the Mad Max game. This is similar to that, in that the game is often most fun when you’re not progressing the plot at all. Very fun gameplay!

It was not I. The store but I ordered online and it came promptly. Getting the Gold edition for half price is a steal and the game was pretty good too.

Great game , good addition to the series, a little different starting out but it’s fun game.If your a fan of the series definitely recommend if your new to series check out Just Cause 3 , really inexpensive to get usually on sale here or direct buy on your favorite console

I Purchased the same for my husband as a Christmas gift as he is an avid gamer and did not have this particular game. He really enjoys it, gameplay is fantastic, would definitely recommend.

If you are a fan of the Just Cause series you will enjoy this one. Updated graphics and physics make this a great sandbox game and for some interesting times with the grappling hook and cars.

Game is over all good, game play is much like just cause 3 but progression is not as well laid out as I would like to have seen. I have spend many hours doing what Rico does best but not sure if I have even made a dent in the story.

Not sure what kind of graphical settings are used on the console, but it honestly looks like a bit of a downgrade after playing 3 on my PC with a GTX 1080 on a 2k monitor. It still looks good, I just thought it would look better

I love this series, this sequel was a good one but just some bugs here and there and could have been better cutscenes but it is what it is, hope the dlcs are good as well. Great collection of weapons and vehicles to play with.

Love the Just Cause franchise. This is the third version I have played and each has different high-points. Great looking. Great action. So many ways to create chaos. Super fun.
