I have a couple of these in different colors. They are flexible so they don’t crack like the plastic ones. And nice and long so I don’t have to sit close to the outlet

It's a great mid-length cord. They did something with the outer casing that's kind of like a braiding in feel but I think it's just what the process of building these feels like. It's a good cord and worth the money.

This lightning port extension is a great replacement

The wire is long enough to keep the phone away from the bed but at the same time close enough in case I needed. I accidentally went over the cord with the vacuum and for the first time the cable was not in pieces.
