So let's start this by saying this isn't the justice league you know this one is an alternate universe. Batman is the dr Kirk but superman and wonder women stay the same character just were raised by diffrent ppl then who you know. All in all it was a good animated movie it's fun to watch a diffrent story unfold.

I wasn't really expecting to like this, as I thought it would be just the three short videos that were released on youtube. I got to watch it all the way through and I thought it was a pretty awesome take on alternate versions Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. They were still "good guys", but just a tad edgier.

Great original alternate take on the Justice League mythos but do not be fooled by art style of the original Justice League animate series, this is a dark and violent reinvention of the Justice League. Great story and clean animation, fun to see the creative team of the original series back in the saddle but this is a hard 14+ feature film.

Worthy spin on iconic DC superheroes

If you are looking for something different than the exhaustive retellings of DC superhero origins, than this is a movie for you. The story of an alternate DC universe, where the Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman equivalents rise to the occasion to defeat the villains is very compelling and well done, enjoy!

Going in knowing the premise and who was behind the production, I knew it was going to be good. This movie did not disappoint and may have you yearning for more alternate tellings of your favorite heroes. I did not give this 5 stars, as it isn't perfect. However, it is good enough to recommend you purchase.

Good story, but this was a what if world

I watched two of the three webisodes, so I knew what was coming. The characters have the same names, but are different in origins. Superman is Zod's genetic clone, Batman injected himself with bat serum and turned into a Bat Man. Wonder Woman was from off world as Burda. They were bad guys and turned good.

I am big fan of the GODS & MONSTERS graphic novel and comic book series. The movie was 'slightly' different than the book story but it still proved to be entertaining. No regrets with the purchase and it fact the bonus features and the collectable figure were value added.

Gods and Monsters is an interesting new take on the Justice League, a "what if" tale where General Zod's son takes the place of Kal-El, Man Bat plays a more vicious Batman, and one of the new gods takes Wonder Woman's place. I found it interesting, with some nods to the traditional DC Universe.

    DCU Puts Out Another One

This is not for the casual superhero cartoon fan. This is a solid watch for any adult DCU fan. The Noir-like feel is classic and refreshing for a JL storyline. It is one of the better films I have seen this year since most of the box office hits have no heart, plot or reason for being made.

I had low expectations for this new spin on classic characters but was pleasantly surprised at how well written and executed this story is. It is also fun to see other familiar names pop upjnminir roles. The animation and voice acting are high quality as they always are with DC animated movies.

A well-thought out universe with not necessarily likeable characters, but characters with interesting and varied backgrounds and motivations. Some of the voice acting is less than stellar (sorry Dexter fans, but Michael C. Hall is just flat), but the animation and art direction are top-notch.

A refreshing take on the Justice League. What would happen if Uber powered demi gods were doing vigilante work without repercussions. Absolute power indeed corrupts absolutely. This was a great story by Bruce Timm and I would recommend this to anyone who is a fan of his previous works.

This is an elseworlds movie. Different background for superman, completely different wonder woman, and totally different batman. If you're looking for something cannon for DC animated universe keep looking. Don't get me wrong it is good, but it's not as good as some of the other DC movies.

Interesting spin on the typical animation genre of comics. It still retains that feel for other titles like it, but it significantly changes the background and characters. If you try not to make it fit with the other titles, you will enjoy it for what it is- a very decent animation movie.

The opening animation scene of Krypton looks just like it did back in the Justice League: Unlimited tv series. The characters voices were spectacular. And Tamara Taylor gave a show stopper voice performance as Wonder Woman. Storyline is great with flashbacks of the origins of Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman.

Flashpoint Paradox was the last animated DC movie I enjoyed and this one is back to that level of quality. It's an alternate universe, though, so many of the characters do not act as they traditionally do, and the movie is heavy with violence. But overall it's a great animated movie.

I did not know what I was buying when I bought this movie. It fit into my movie genres. I watched the movie all the way through. It was good. I might have overrated by less than a half a star. If I say any about the movie itself, it might ruin it for those that decide to buy it.

Was impressed with the way this alternate reality of the DC world is explained & seeing how other characters who would have been super Villains or Heroes are still just Scientists or Other types of normal individuals. Love the Grittiness and violence included in this as well.

This Elseworld adaptation is dark, violent, and very compelling. I was completely invested in the characters and the story. But if you are looking to see your recognizable Justice League heroes this is not the movie for you. Very different, and very entertaining.

This was a very good (and violent) Elseworlds story put together masterfully by the legend, Bruce Timm. If you are a fan of the DC animated films (not a bad one in the bunch, by the way), I highly recommend this one for a very different take on the classic three (Batman, Superman & Wonder Woman).
