Great product but had trouble with the install. Had to bring back in to fix, but was fixed.

Purchased it to replace the original receiver on my 2015 VW EOS. After installation I realized the new receiver can't play satellite radio at all, completely lost reception. When I call BestBuy I was told I needed an additional tuner to receive satellite signals. Why neither JVC nor Geek service told me before I bought it or installation? Now I have to spend another $79 to but the tuner and $49 to get it installed. I also realized I lost the original GPS capability as well. Yeah, the new receiver has wired Apple Play, but the GPS still is needed when there is no cellular signals. The last, this receiver also fails to get clear signal for regular Am/Fm radio. I could get clear Hi-Fi signals from local radio station from the original receiver. However now I can't listen to more than 2/3 local stations. Overall, both product and Geek installation service failed my exception. I don't recommend this product and installation service at all.

Easy to install. Just follow the manual it's make it real easy. Definitely recommend this product if your in the market for a stereo..

I previously had a Sony Apply Car play in another car, so here are the differences that I could not accept. On this JVC model, when you have the maps showing in apple car play, you cannot change the radio station. Not only is there not a button the radio, but the steering wheel controls don't work. You have to exit Carplay, navigate back to the radio every time you want to change the station. The Bestbuy installer admitted this was how the JVC was designed. Also, when listening to spotify, I received a text message, it auto played as expected, but then it didn't return to spotify, it started playing the radio instead. Bad glare on the overly reflective screen as well. I had this stereo for 5 minutes in my car and told the installer I wanted to swap for the Sony model that I had before. This thing is junk by design.

We are very pleased so far. We had this installed in our new-to-use Corvette. It works well with both our phones - an android and an iPhone.

Love the radio, not happy with the fine print. The specs say SiriusXM ready so I thought it came with it we just needed to transfer it from my old radio to this one…. Nope. You need to buy a special adapter in order to have SiriusXM! Thank fully I can play it through car play, but that was one of the reasons I bought this type of stereo.

Loving it. I had a touch screen in a car that I gave my daughter, so I wanted one in my truck so I got one. This does everything that I need it to do.

This JVC car stereo is a life changer! Awesome sound and so easy to switch between the streaming platforms! I love it!
