    This JVC car receiver was by far the biggest mistake I've ever made. I thought I couldn't go wrong with JVC. I was so wrong. The receiver locked up before I even got out of the parking lot at Best Buy. The JVC app that you have to download is the biggest joke I've ever seen. And don't get me started on JVC customer service. Their resolution was not to run Waze on my phone at the same time. I uninstalled waze and it made no difference. I updated the firmware but once that was done - the receiver only stated that my Samsung Galaxy S8 was no longer supported. But, in the end, Best Buy made it right. I have a Pioneer car receiver. Has more features and there is no app to download on your phone!

    Having gone to this upgrade was well worth the money. The screen icons and read outs are easily seen and all instructions are clear. Google maps has been a great help even in the back country of Nothern California. I miss the feature of having multiple CD’s with my last radio...
