Customers commend the HAET45TH True Wireless In-Ear Headphones for their impressive sound quality, long battery life, comfortable fit, and water-resistant design. They appreciate the value for money and the secure fit provided by the ear hooks. However, some users find the controls complex and the micro USB charging port outdated.

PACKAGING:
The packaging was great. It gives you tech specs, what is included in the box (ear hook, 3 size ear fins (XS, M, L) 3 size ear tips (S, M, L), 3 size open ear type tips (S, M, L), a charging cable (USB to micro USB), and charging case.) Once you open the box it comes in a nice stiff cardboard case with customized slots that hold the earbuds and the charging case. Under that is where you get everything else that is in the box which is in a plastic bag which is resealable.
NOTABLE FEATURES:
It comes with an Ear Hook that is detachable. Which means if you are working out and the earbuds are falling out of your ears you can put them on to help keep them in place. If you are just chilling doing work on your computer, you can take them off. It also comes with an Ear Fin for added ability to not fall out of your ear when working hard. I find both to be a nice design feature that others don’t offer and wish more earbuds would utilize going forward.
It comes with Water Resistance rating of IP55 which means that it can withstand direct water jets. Meaning come rain, snow, or super soaker battle they will do fine.
It comes with two different types of ear tips. The first creates a seal in case you don’t want to hear what is going on around you. The second allows ambient noise through. Which I think is awesome. As sometimes if I am on my computer, I don’t want to hear what is going on around me. But if I am out jogging or at the gym I want to be aware of my surroundings for safety reasons and with these I don’t have to choose one or the other.
It comes with the latest and greatest Bluetooth 5.0. Which means connecting to your device is snappy and you have a good distance you can go before it disconnects.
AESTHETICS/BUILD QUALITY:
The earbuds appear large in the pictures, but they are a lot more compact than you might think and are just slightly larger than strictly in ear earbuds. They are a lot smaller than other earbuds that come with ear hooks. The ear hooks are made of a soft rigid matte black plastic. The ear fin is an incredibly soft and flexible matte black plastic which feels great. The rest of the earbud is hard plastic. With the ear tips being your standard plastic but are quite grippy. I would have preferred this to be a bit softer. But they are easy to remove and place back on. There is no filter to prevent earwax from hitting directly against the screen for the driver. They magnetically attach to the case. And stay put even when I have the case open and am shaking them upside down which is nice.
The charging case is large. The biggest that I’ve seen when it comes to portable devices but those are usually just earbuds without the ear hooks, so this being larger makes sense. Even with the added ear hooks the case is only mildly bigger. Which to me makes it hard to be a portable device for your pocket but would do fine if you carry around a purse, backpack, or bag. It is made from lightweight matte black plastic that feels durable. The hinge appears to be very sturdy as it is large and appears to have a metal piece that goes through it for extra protection. It also has a small magnet to help keep it closed. On the back of the device you have a micro USB slot for charging. Of the front you have 4 white LED lights that will notify you how much battery you have left. The earbuds will also be red when charging.
PROS:
- Customizability between having or not having a ear hook and ear fin. Along with using normal ear tips or ambient ear tips.
- First time pairing is easy. Just put the earbuds in the case. Then take them out and it will go into pairing mode. Then go to your phone and select JVC from the list and bam you’re good to go.
- Figuring out how to put them in your ear takes a bit of getting used to. But once you get it they are comfortable and won’t be going ANYWHERE. I’ve never had a pair of earbuds just not move. But I found after using them for about an hour or two I would develop a bit of pain in my ear from where they were pressing.
- They get plenty loud.
- Basic Onboard controls.
- Sound quality was good but not great/horrible. Bass was limited and did a lot better dependent on your seal. If you don’t have a good seal there was almost no bass if you had a seal it was present but not great. Treble was a bit sharp/harsh but that made vocals sound good but it fatigued my ears quickly. I would say the overall mix is a fun mix over a balanced one. I couldn’t hear a lot of nuances in songs (separation) and positional accuracy (imaging) was poor. Most of the instruments and music would blend together in the background with vocals being very prominently in the front. Accuracy was alright but it lacked a lot of depth which I refer to as emotion. In other words, think 720p vs 4k for a television in the sense of clarity when looking up close. Which for this price point isn’t unexpected but unfortunate.
- Bluetooth 5.0 connects quickly and keeps a solid connection.
CONS:
- I wish the case had an extra slot where you could store one of the ear tips. So that way if I wanted to active the passive noise cancelling (by using the normal tips to plug up my ear) I could and when I wanted to hear what was going around me I could use the ambient ear tips.
- Case is large which limits it’s portability.
- Battery life is alright. 4 hours before needing to recharge for a total of 14 hours. For this price not terrible but not great either. It takes about two hours to fully recharge.
- Sound quality was meh. It wasn’t terrible, it wasn’t great, it was smack dab in the middle.
- You can only use the left earbud by itself and not the right as it is a slave device. Which is common but I prefer when you can use one or the other or both. Connecting to the other earbud is incredibly fast.
-Onboard controls take severe force to activate (to the point I didn’t think they had it until I was trying to remove the ear tips and accidently activated them.) The click is quite loud inside the ear. If you click either bud once it will play/pause. If you click the left twice it will lower volume. If you click the right twice it will raise the volume. If you hold the left for a second it will go back if you hold the right for second it will go forward.
CONCLUSION:
So, these are interesting. As I think they do a lot of things right and you get a ton of features for a great price. Such as dual support (ear hook/ear fin), two ear tips (non-ambient and ambient), IP55 resistance, and Bluetooth 5.0 for $80. I have no real complaints about battery life. But what really ruins these guys is the sound quality as it is just so incredibly average and fatigues my ears quickly. Granted these appear to be more for those active individuals. As it gives you more than enough battery life (as I don’t know anyone who exercises for 4 straight hours). During which they will stay put that entire time no matter what your throw at them. Also, with the more fun leaning mix it can help give you energy and pump you up during that workout. But afterwards your ears will likely be a bit fatigued from the harshness of the treble. The case is also cumbersome to take in a pocket making you need to bring a bag or something to put them in. As for individual ratings. Features 5/5. Sound 2/5. Comfort 3.5/5. Charging case 3.5/5. Overall, 3.5/5. So, in the end due to the sound quality it is a pass for me and I would only recommend it for those individuals who cannot find a pair of earbuds that stay well in their ears for workouts. But using these for anything other than that is not recommended in my opinion.

Versatile fit and great sound

I was very excited to test out these wireless headphones as I had been looking for a pair of true wireless ones for a while. My primary use for these is to listen to music while running and working out, so I needed a pair that would fit securely in my ears. From the multitude of headphones I’ve owned, ones with the ear hooks seem to work best for me when running and therefore is a must have feature for me. Surprisingly, it’s not easy to find ones with the ear hooks, so when these came along I knew I had to give them a try.
Upon opening the box, I noticed that everything was packed very well. I was very happy with the amount of ear pieces and fins included to allow for different sizing and fits, along with the feature to allow for more ambient sound to pass through, or not, depending on the ear pieces used. (I will admit, I did not realize the difference of the two sets of ear pieces until seeing other reviewers discuss it because the included instructions are minimal at best, and I missed the note explaining the difference.) In addition to the different ear pieces, the ear hooks on each ear bud can also be removed or installed, based off the user’s preference, making these ear buds very versatile in fit.
The included instructions are very minimal, but I understood that the charging case was to be charged first before charging the ear buds. The cord provided is very short and luckily the case is very light because the case was dangling from the plug while charging. After charging the case, I placed the ear buds in the case for charging. I love that the charging connection is magnetic so that the ear bud pulls perfectly into place when it is seated in the case. Another useful feature of the case is the indicator lights on the exterior, to identify how much charging life is left with the case. (You get four full charges before having to recharge the case – which is awesome if using while traveling.)
The initial pairing of the ear buds with my phone was seamless. After the initial pairing, they would automatically connect when in use. The ear pieces installed were the ones I first tested with the ear buds, and they happened to be the regular ear pieces. The regular ear pieces do a great job blocking out most noise, but do allow some louder noises to pass through. For my first test I had the tv on with normal volume, and I was listening to music through my ear buds. The tv noise was practically non-existent and, to me, I felt like nothing existed outside the music I was listening to. I thought the sound quality was great, and it seemed like a huge improvement from my old set of wireless headphones.
In addition to the quality sound, the microphone seems to be pretty decent as well. I took a phone call while cleaning up around my house and was told that I sounded very clear on their end but they could hear some noise from the various cleaning tasks.
My first longer test run of these ear buds was completed while doing a long running workout outside. While I could still hear when a car was approaching, I didn’t have the proper ear pieces in to allow for more noise through, in order to hear the cars approaching from a safer distance away. The ear buds stayed in place really well during my run, which was another welcomed improvement from my old set of wireless headphones. The only minor problem I had with these ear buds during my run was that my ears were slightly sore after wearing them for nearly 3 hours. The body of the ear buds is a bit on the bulkier side, and therefore tends to press into my ear very slightly. This was not something I noticed immediately, and only resulted in a minor discomfort after longer wear time.
As I mentioned, I was a bit late to the party on understanding the difference between ear pieces and only primarily tested the regular ear pieces with the ear buds. Once I did learn that the other set wasn’t just a different color set of ear pieces, I did give the open ear pieces a short test run. I felt that there was a noticeable difference between the two sets, and the open ear pieces seemed to adequately allow more moderate noise to pass through than the regular ear pieces. These definitely would have been more ideal to use when running outside, while the regular pieces are perfect for situations that more noise cancellation is needed and/or wanted. In addition, the open ear pieces are best if planning to use the ear buds while on the phone. The regular ones block out so much noise that I could barely hear myself talking, and it made it very difficult to speak at a normal volume.
Overall, I think these truly wireless head phones / ear buds are a great value, with many features and quality sound! I like the functionality of them, the versatile fit, the extended charging with the charging case, the magnetic connection of the charging case, and the price point for all the included features.

I really like the fitment of these JVC Fitness in true wireless earbud-style headphones! They are the most comfortable ones I have found with the over the ear hook feature. The nice thing is though if you want a more refined look like for an office environment you can take the hooks off. They also have stabilizer fins that you can change out to find the right fit for your ears. These headphones work great as a sport type of true wireless headphones with the over the ear feature it make them very stable. They do not move around at all on my ears. With the right size ear buds they work well without the over the ear hooks as well when you are looking for that more low profile look! Me personally I prefer the over the ear hooks for the stability since I work in a construction environment. Which leads me to another feature and that is they also come with open ear buds so you can hear your surroundings if you are in a work environment around other people you need to communicate with or if you are using them in any situation where you need to be able to hear ambient sounds. They sound good with music, on phone calls and with podcasts and YouTube. There are two things that I wish they did have but one of them for me is the case with all of my Bluetooth headphones and that is volume. I always have to use a volume booster app and this was the case with these as well but once I utilized the app I was satisfied with the loudness. Another thing I wish they had was dual connectivity since I have a work phone and a personal phone. Other than those two things I am very happy with these True wireless headphones. I would definitely recommend them for their versatility, sound quality and comfortable stable fitment.

Great Product, But Use Website Instructions

Let’s start with the many positives.
From the designation as “Sport Headphones” one would infer that this is a durable, comfortable but secure, and easy to use product. Just pop them in, turn on, and start your run or other activity.
While I cannot predict reliability or durability there is a solid feel to the components and they seem well constructed. Can they be both comfortable and secure when in active use, a conflict for many in-ear products? Yes. Included in the package are a wide range of inserts and ear hooks. In my case, the ones pre-fitted at the factory fit perfectly and comfortably. After a couple of minutes, they just felt like they belonged on my head and soon I barely noticed them. With the many options, most people should have no problem finding a good fit.
Issues? A few.
The charging process (which ultimately provides a several hours of listening) requires 2 steps. First, one must charge the case for ~3 hours. Then one inserts the earphones into the case for about 2 hours. The case retains its charged power sufficiently so that the earphones can be recharged a few times.
The sound quality listening to MP3 files from my Galaxy S8+ was mediocre. Obviously tuned for the mid-tones, bass and treble were weak. But these are not designed for listening in a living room to a high-quality audio source; they are meant to help an active person enjoy music, accept a phone call, etc. I did not expect—and did not hear—studio quality music. Phone calls were easy to understand.
In order to make these small enough for their intended purposes, there were compromises in the interface, and most commands (answer phone, mute, pause, fast-forward, volume, etc.) are controlled by invisible buttons on each unit; the same action on one is related to, but different from, the other. For example, tap 2X on the left to mute. Do the same on the right to increase volume. Not sure the average user will memorize the complexities.
My final concern is the instruction sheet that comes with the packaging. It is dominated by barely decipherable pictograms (see photo) and very small text. There are no written instructions, so one must try to use the illustrations. I found this daunting until I got an inspiration and went online. JVC has a wonderful website that has clear, step-by-step guidance in English and with clear illustrations. I could find no reference to the website on the printed instructions, a disappointing omission.
In sum, an excellent purpose-built product with some minor inconveniences.

Good true wireless headphones

These JVC true wireless headphones work as expected. If you are an audiophile, you may want to look elsewhere as the sound quality is not as accurate as others in this price range may be. For the everyday average use though, these work as intended and will allow you to go truly wireless!
Pros:
- dual use headphones, able to take off the ear clip and use as in ear only
- fitting of both ear clip and non-ear clip is pretty solid (these stayed snuggly in my ears while jogging)
- IPX5 rating makes these headphones well suited for physical activities where you may sweat a lot
- first time pairing with device is simple
Cons:
- build quality of case feels very flimsy and bulky
- case for headphones uses a micro usb port to charge, most of my devices, including my other truly wireless headsets are usb c, so this means i have to carry one more extra cable if i plan to travel with this headset...
- battery life... is not great, yet not too bad... i got around 3.5 hours with the volume at 75%, the charging case allowed for another 6 hours until i needed to charge it via the micro usb wire
Overall, there are other truly wireless alternatives in this price range that may be better suited for you, but it depends on what you are looking for. If you need something strictly for working out, this is a great pair to start with!

The fit of the headphones is good, as you get a lot of different accessories so you can choose what works for you best. I prefer the hook over the ear, so this works well for me. The headphones are pretty small and light, so wearing them is easy. Having the charging case is nice to store them. There is a button on each headphone, and instruction on how to use them, so if you don't need to get out your phone to say pause the music, but the button is hard to push so its easier to use the phone.
When it comes to sound quality, that's where they are just so so. The sound is Ok, the base is kind of weak though you can hear everything else. I would guess your experience may differ depending on the music you listen to. These don't have an app or any equalizer that you could adjust this, which I've seen with other headphones.
Overall these are decent, with a nice design but only OK sound quality.

Interesting Alternative?

JVC had an interesting decision to make with their new headphones. Do you go premium and try to compete with Apple, Google, and Samsung? Do you go midrange and hope that people gravitate towards a mid-range price from a brand that may still have some cache? Do you dare compete with the price of the plethora of no-name Chinese knockoffs in the category?
In this case it appears that JVC went middle of the road with a product that maintains some semblance of quality but with some clear shortcuts taken.
Packaging:
JVC made the odd choice of displaying the earbuds outside the charging case for some odd reason. The front of the box did not have any flap to open and actually see the buds so you don't actually view this packaging layout until you open the box. It really served no purpose and probably made the box twice as large as it needed to be.
Build quality:
The earbud quality is decent. At the end of the day isn't that really what matters? The buds feel solid and compact with no give or creaking. The charging box on the other hand felt thin and cheap to me, and again this is an area where the size was an odd choice. It's too big to be pocketable and yet small enough to get lost in a backpack. I would have rather seen JVC focus less on being able to fit the ear hooks in the charging case, and more on making the charger compact and pocketable because the buds themselves are clearly small and compact. Speaking of ear hooks...I get it. It's nice to have that as an add-on feature, but they turned out to be not necessary and I would guess that most people would choose to take them off. Taking them on/off is kind of a pain and somewhat cheesy.
Sound: I read another review that trashed the sound of these and another that said they sound great. I guess I'll be France and say they sound....OK? I listened to a couple different headsets back to back and the JVC held their own. They were a tad flat and I wasn't able to hear as much separation in the vocals and instruments that I normally do, but they were able to handle volume quite well and weren't totally lifeless. I know...not rousing praise but they're....OK!
Bottom Line: These personally aren't for me. I miss some small features that I no longer think about on other headsets. Removing one of the JVS buds for example did not stop the music I was listening to. That said, they do sound OK, the buds have decent build quality, and the price is about 1/3rd of the biggest competitor in the sport wireless category. For someone on a budget these would be a fine choice. Pair with Geek Squad Protection and I think these would make a pretty OK Christmas or Birthday present.

Operational User Evaluation of JVC- Fitness In-Ear True Wireless Headphones with Dual Use Design-Black - Black
Model:HAET45TB
SKU:6412860
Summary report:
Product meets or exceeds described functions except instructions. High quality lite weight unit with outstanding range. These are not value range units but more towards the high-quality end.
Instructions were not adequate but most people can figure it out. Base unit and ear phones have separate charging lights.
And ear buds may not charge automatically when first inserted into the base but will eventually connect.
Detailed results:
This unit was able to transmit and receive BT 5.0 signals on multiple devices without any issues.
Battery life was around 12-14 hours of use and at are projected to have several days of occasional use. 1.3 hours or less for a full recharge out of the box of both the headset and charging base. Dead unit around 4.2 hours to charge.
Test process:
Tested these with two iPhone 2020 SEs and an HP Omen 0023 (both with BT5.0). Did range and functionality checks in addition to the controlled home test environment.
These are cordless (completely) and are not cumbersome to use long durations during walking. Touch the unit and answer the call.
BT 5.0 and 5.1 are the standard and this device is 5.0.
Range tests were done in a controlled environment and resulted in 79 feet with obstructions and 120 feet line of site. This about the same distance as a high quality over the ear BT 5.0 full headset.
Audio quality was excellent for in ear units. Be advised to go large with the extra ear inserts or all of the bass will be missing. Bass was surprisingly clear and clean as well as all other frequencies.
Ear bud pair separately somehow although it shows only one 45TB unit in BT connections. Consequently music channel separation is total.
Sometimes I heard a minor music fade out for about 1 second on extended music plays.
These units do not have ambient noise reduction for phone calls.
Driver/software updates:
Did not find any FW updates for this device.
Test equipment:
BT 5.0 2020 SE iPhones, two BT 5.0 computers and a BT 5.0 transceiver.

JVC...Just Very Crummy?

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
I was actually going for a slightly more descriptive word when coming up with this review title, but you'd probably never see it if I left it there. Anyway, let's move on to reviewing this pair of JVC Sport Wireless headphones!
I think at this point everyone in the world has a pair of Bluetooth wireless headphones, so we all know that they magically pair up with our devices and deliver sound to our ear holes. This pair does that, but that's basically where it stops doing anything even remotely well.
These JVC Sport Wireless headphones are truly wireless, which means you don't have any cords at all to worry about. It'll come with a charging case that magnetically holds your headphones in place while they get extra juice from the battery pack stowed away inside the case. You'll get about 3-4 hours per charge and then you should be able to put them back in the case and be up and running within an hour again. These times are pretty standard across most truly wireless headphones as there just isn't much room in the earbuds to pack large batteries.
You may be asking yourself why I gave these a 2 out of 5, everything sounds pretty standard so far, right? Well, yes until you actually get around to playing sound through headphones. Once you figure out how you want to fit them in your ears (as they come with several different options and removable ear hooks) you'll notice that they are decently comfortable and stay in place very well due to the "Dual Support" feature that combines the ear hook and inner ear tension things to really make these headphones stay in place. The fact that they stay in place really well is both a pro and a con, because you'll want to take them off as soon as you play any music through them. My ears were fatigued by the end of my review, but they sure didn't fall off when I was working out.
I tested these headphones with several different genres of music. From Whitney Houston who's highs were so bright and tinny sounding to Jay-Z's beats that sounded like they were underwater, to Metallica's guitar riffs that almost made my ears bleed and these headphones excelled at nothing. Even audio books sounded miserable with it's overly bright sound and high treble. Are they usable, sure, if you've never put on a pair of Bluetooth headphones outside of the one's they sell at gas stations, then sure.
Yes, the sound is just that terrible on these. Setup was fine, even if the instructions were minimal. The built in voice that tells you if you're paired had a very thick accent, which unfortunately doesn't scream quality as it's the same type of voice that come with knock off headphones from overseas. The box will come with a charging cable and plenty of different sized ear pieces to get a customized fit. Comfort will not be a problem with these headphones.
To summarize, there are so many options in this very flooded market for truly wireless headphones that these JVC Sport Wireless headphones just do not stand out in any discernible way. There's really no good reason to purchase these over any other pair of wireless sport headphones out there on the market.
So to summarize this review, let's hit the pros and cons, shall we?
Pros:
They deliver "sound" to your ears
Comfortable fit
Easy pairing with devices
Cons:
They sound terrible
Built in voice sounds low budget
Case is light and feels cheap
Too many other better options in this price range

Sport Flexibility
|
Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
The JVC Sport Wireless earbuds offer a lot of flexibility for anyone on the go. They are dust, sweat and water resistant which means they are meant for the outside and the gym. The earbuds can be configured just as earbuds or you can add ear hooks for additional support. They also include different size ear fins which are small pieces of rubber that slide into the groves of your ear to help limit earbud movement. I found the combination of ear hooks and ear fins hold the earbuds more securely than any other earbud I have owned. Also because the ear fins help limit the movement of the earbud I don’t experience sounds caused by the earbud’s movement when I move rapidly. If you remove the ear loop from the earbud the ear fin still helps stabilize the earbud and once the gyms are safe that will be my preferred set up. I will still use the ear hooks however for doing any type of cardio workout like running.
Issues with Sunglasses and Running: The ear hooks help stabilize the earbud but they are made of a rubber type material with a fixed curvature. Because of this I cannot bend or manipulate them to better match the curvature of my ear. This becomes an issue for me when running with sunglasses. I have tried several different brand sunglasses and I have to make sure that the sunglasses's arms stay on the outside of the ear hook otherwise they will eventually loosen the earbud from my ear. The issue here is that one size ear hooks do not fit all ears and these ride high on my ears thus contacting the sunglasses’s arms.
Audio Quality: JVC includes two types of ear pieces. One set has holes in it to allow ambient sounds to reach your ear when wearing the earbuds. I found that I actually like these better when running or working outside because I am more aware of my surroundings. They don’t let in enough sound that it interferes with the music and you still have to remove them to carry on a conversation. For a quieter listen JVC also provides the standard ear pieces that do a good job of cutting off the outside noise. Overall the sound quality is good, the highs and mid-range are solid and the bass range is typical of earbuds. The audio quality for phone calls was acceptable but some found my voice to be not quite as clear as when speaking directly into the phone. I was still fully understandable it just didn’t sound as good.
Operation: These earbuds use a single button on each earbud to control everything like volume, on/off, fwd/rev and phone control. The problem with that is it can be annoying to keep poking yourself in the ear to get what you want. Luckily they are quick to pair and connect out of the case so if you use your phone to do the controlling it limits this issue. The earbuds last about 4 hours per charge and the included storage case can charge the earbuds up to 10 additional hours. The Bluetooth connectivity is quite solid with no issues with drop outs.

JVC True Wireless Fitness Earphones work as they are made to.
They audio is average about a 3.5 out of 5 star, that's probably all you need to concentrate on your workout. I don't recall ever wanting an audiophile experience while working out.
It basically has three points of contact to keep in place.
1) The earpiece plastic, which comes in S, M, L
2) The air fingers(?)
3) The over the ear loop
With those contact points, it does stay in place during a workout and is moisture resistant.
I wouldn't say these are a noise cancelling ear piece, but more a sound isolation ear piece. They do come with a set of sound pass through ear buds that allow you to hear ambient sounds better around you.
The case is a little bigger than your standard case, being that it does have to accommodate the over the ear loop. Placing them in the case is pretty simple since it attaches magnetically and can only basically fit one way. The case is made of plastic and is lightweight compared to metal cases that are twice as small. Case acts as a charger and carries additional charges for all day use.
It pairs very easily when taken out of case. Just select the JVC bluetooth headset and once it's paired, it will automatically pair when turned on. I find the pairing confirmation accent amusing. Some people might not like the fact that it doesn’t pause play when removed from the ear, but I kind of like that it doesn’t do that. Take one side out and it still continues to play on the other side and vice versa. You actually have to pause the audio or turn them off.
The earpiece works pretty well once you learn. HOWEVER, the controls are not actual taps. They do require pushing the ear piece, single push, double push, and hold push. And they aren't quite lite pushes, needs to be pretty firm and solid. Makes me kind of wonder how long before the pad wears out and pushes through the cover.
Overall, they work as they are advertised to work. No claims to audiophile audio, but they do stay on the ear for a workout with decent sound.

My new JVC sport wireless grey headphones have great sound, has voice assistance which is awesome! Water resistant is a pIus cause getting sweaty working out I’ve ruined another pair already, it was quick & easy Bluetooth pairing no issues at all, battery life is approx. 14 hours with 2 hour workout I charged once a week, love that it comes with 3 sizes in earpieces in 2 different styles both styles look the same to me & 3 sizes of ear fines the little pieces that hold into the curve above your ear opening which helps me cause I have issues with ear buds staying in, I liked the option to use with or without the ear hooks cause the back of my ears do get sore sometimes especially when wearing with my sunglasses with outside activities.
Only complaint is the control buttons I feel like you have to push the hard to get the to work and it has to be exactly where the button is at so you have to feel for it which I do not like compared to my previous pair it was a simple tap. Other than that I really enjoying them

I love wireless earphones, so this was a no brainer. When playing music, the sound actually is really great. The earphones have decent bass because they’re in ear headphones. The battery life is acceptable as well, about 3.5 to 4 hours in my experience from full charge. I enjoyed the over the ear sport clips that help keep the earphones in place when active. Albeit, when running you don’t usually need to talk, well that just so happened while I was running and the call kept cutting out. The antenna signal wasn’t the issue but the Bluetooth signal was cutting off while the phone was 2 feet away at most. That was a huge bummer. That’s the whole reason Bluetooth was invented; hands-free calls. The music kept the rating afloat and above a 1 star, but I can’t in good conscience recommend this product because call quality and mic quality should go hand in hand when purchasing a hands free set that has two separate functioning earbuds. For the price, I wouldn’t recommend this product.

I recently recieved theze JVC- Fitness In-Ear True Wireless Headphones with Dual Use Design-Black color to test from the tech insider network program through best buy to offer my honest, unbiased opinion. I have only toyed with a few inexpensive (20 dollars or less)earbuds that are Bluetooth over the past few years, both sets ended up breaking, one due to wiring, other battery overheated. I don't use headphones much at all, and the set I do use are an old set I don't even know what brand they are I paid 30 dollars for 10 plus years ago. I have equivalent Sony and Philips earbuds also. So. how do these compare.
First: fit and comfort. these are comfortable. Like I mentioned, I don't eat headphones much at all, let alone earbuds cause I just don't like the feeling, and lack of ability to hear my surroundings. these fit right out of the box for me, though may size holes are available, the default was good, they are light and sit at a good angle in the canal, the ear wrap overs I don't even notice, unlike the mask I have to wear 8 hours a day at work around my ears, so a plus. no sharp edges and I can move a lot and no slip. I want to bang my head to old school thrash, these will stay in.
Second: Sound. These sound crisp, no his or fuzz, bass and trebel mix are blended well for me at least. Stereo is very good, and at times really feel they are putting the mix right in the middle of my head, with a good directional motion for sounds that to that. they are not noise cancelling, but the way they fit, the outside sounds are definitely muffled.
Third: battery life- I am not sure how long these will last. I have used them for 2 hours several times, no fade, I think they claim 4 hours and 12 with case charging, I admit, I doubt I'll ever test that, but I believe that is possible.
Fourth: functions- This is where there is a major design flaw. Pairing, no issues, did well. I like the fact you can pause/play, volume up and down, and skip back or forward with these. It works. Here's the catch, the buttons to do this on the headphones are flat on the paralelle surface to the ear. That means if you push with 1 finger you drive this into your ear canal more. That is not pleasant to have to do much of you need to. There is enough room they could have put little buttons on the edges of this to make the force go perpendicular to the ear, and a pinch like motion with the appropriate hand would do the trick.
So, are they with the asking price. Sound wise yes, I would say yes, they meet what I would expect at that price. Design wise, I'd say look at other options, because pushing the buttons into the canal is not pleasurable. Even the under 20 dollar Blutooth sets I had used a pinching motion. That is the achelies heel of these. For the asking price this should have been figured out, so I lower the score to 3 stars. I would have said solid 4 If it wasn't for the buttons. The other point deduction is on price point. I haven't researched these much, but I'd say these would land at about 70% of their MSRP would be the sweet spot for these. I am glad I tested these, and having many jvc products over the years in my stereo systems (Dual cassette player and 5.1 recieved that still work great after almost 20 years), and that was part of the lure for me. They make good products. I would recommend to a friend, but if they were on sale at a good price because I know they work and what to expect. Even with the design flaw, I could show a friend and let them decide if the sound is worth it.
