    Works like a charm on my MacBook Pro 2017 non-touchbar edition. If you're going to use it for basic tasks, then I would extremely recommend this cable over the more expensive options. I have not tried the 4k render yet, but I can confirm it works just fine without flickering or anything like that on an HP 1080p monitor.
