I would not purchase this as a stand alone product. I received this free with my purchase of my Toshiba C855D-S5104 laptop. Norton is still essentially one if the best antivirus protection options, but this was still better than McAffee.

I received this anti virus software with the purchase of my new HP Envy M4. The software is reasonably easy to use. The only thing I do not like about it is that I am always having to update it. Like every 2 days or so it shows the displays a yellow lite saying update required. Some times it will even display the red not protected. I have non metered setting on my hotspot to conserve bandwidth. I've used AVG and Norton primarily AVG in the past & never experience so many required updates. Although I only surf certified sites & have not ran into a virus since I bought my lap top, I really don't feel safe with this software. The software literally lets me know I may or may not be protected every time. I really don't see the point in that at all.

I've had Kaspersky for 4 years and never had a virus attack my laptop. Easy to setup or even renew. Also, it provides you with updates and an iverlook on how your computer is. I trust this software and the price is good for a good product.

I mean, its anti-virus so it protects a PC from viruses. I have it installed on two laptops and a desktop per the license includes 3 PCs / Macs. Strongly recommended not to install on a Mac laptop, it constantly runs and drains the Impressive 11 Hour battery of my Summer 2010 Core 2 Macbook Pro to about 3 Hours on min brightness. Used to could surf for about 7 Hours full brightness almost. Not now. Anyways it does protect from viruses I guess, doesn't find any mostly cause I don't navigate to sites of ill-repute. Does add a layer of security for online buying / banking so it give me some confidence in case there is a virus on-board. My other laptop handles it okay I guess unless I guess I may get better battery without it I am unsure though. Scans fast when it scans and tries to scan all USB devices which can get annoying but you can set it up to not do this.

This is the best protection product I have ever purchased! Before I used major products such as Norton, AVG, McAfee and so on but neither of them can compare to what Kapersky has to offer. The price is great, the installation is a breeze and it's easy to use no matter your level of expertise. Before I purchased this I would use free 30 day downloads on my computer as well as my mom's because I didn't think any that I had found was worth buying. Excellent program with some minor tools for repair of windows, great firewall. It has very good net security and virus protection. Easy to use and very easy to install. Runs smoothly on computer and does not slow computer operations like Norton does.

I have been using this for the last couple of laptops.. so user friendly. if you are on a site that is not safe a pop up will show up.. if you to get a virus a pop up with say recommend fix.. just click on it and it is fixed.. wow. so great

The software came super cheap with the pro. Installation went smoothly and there has been no problems with security issues. Overall, worth the value and would do it again.

I have a set-up in which I use three computers one widows based desktop for gaming and power computer, one windows based laptop for work on the go, and a Linux based web browsing computer. Ironically the computer that would need the anti-virus, firewalls, and internet security the most is the one that is not supported by this anti-virus. I chose a linux OS because of the lessed threat against it from viruses and web attacks, but it is not completely immune. So with two machines of mine protected I used my third lisence on my Dad's new PC. So I guessed it worked out. But the computers in which I had installed it on remain well protected. So no complaints other then a desire to use it on a not so common OS.

I have used McAfee, Norton & AVG in the past ... While Kaspersky has a simplistic GUI and lacks a few configuration / manual interaction features. It is extremely effective and consumes minimal machine resources without decreasing performance! I had AVG Internet Security running most recently. I removed it because it rarely logged any infections or issues. No surprise, once I installed, updated and configured Kaspersky, it found several treats AVG completely allowed

Haven't had a virus since install. Easy to use. The program frequently has pop-ups asking you to update.

Bought Lap Top from Best Buy January 2012 and Kaspersky came with. I didn't install because I've had so many bad experiences with Norton and other virus subscriptions that when they expire, they cause your system to run slow or crash until you renew their product. In October 2012 I received an email that installed a Trojan on my Lap Top. No matter what I did I couldn't remove it. Then for Christmas I bought my wife a computer again from Best Buy and again Kaspersky came with. I installed on my Lap Top and within a few hours of running it had found and removed two Trojan Viruses and removed all malware. My Lap Top now runs good as new and I feel I finally found a program that really protects my information. I highly recommend!

Never had a big issue with this product. However it is still possible to get a virus or spyware. I would love to see this product do more. Maybe have it a virus protection and a system mechanic all in one......people today want a all in one product that is easy to use without messing up the computer and one that does many things.....Can not say enough that needs to be easy to use....

Easy internet security to upload and maintain. You can program it for the kids too, so that explicit sites are blocked. The program warns you when it needs to be updated, which usually takes a couple of minutes to update. Great internet security for the price!

Kaspersky internet security is good protection for my laptop. There are always viruses that could possibly attack that no program can detect or fight, but for the most part this security does what it says. I was not told that it is too much for windows xp. The protection on that computer disables itself every once in a while and I have to restart the computer.

It seems to provide good security. It was very easy to install. I offers something called safe money, which I have not used and am not sure I will. I get providing the best security possible, but I just want to use the internet without having to go through other programs. I got it for free with my purchase of the warranty for my laptop.

It's much too soon to evaluate the product. So far, it seems to be a decent typical AV and overall security program, with useful screens. I haven't found it to be overly intrusive so far, but for all I know it isn't doing much for me either... If the PC stays clean and speedy for the coming year, I'll very strongly endorse the product.

Provides protection for more than one computer, so only needing to buy protecting product vs. one for each.
