I have windows xp and I heard this is a good anti virus for that operating system. It can be set to update automatically. My only problem is it takes a long time to scan your computer even if you choose a quick scan. It does have a option where it can mark the websites as safe so you know which ones you should avoid.

seems to work ok but it keeps giving me a notice that I am not protected for screen shots. something about not compatible with 8.1. ?? Also although this was installed by geek squad I keep getting a notice from the geek squad to download it to my computer. I called about it, but I still am getting the notices

I think for the cost of this add-on security pack, it should do a lot more. I prefer paying for another security service that gives me more for less money and comes recommended by my IT departments. However, the product works well for what it does, it just doesn't do enough in my opinion for the price.

I had heard about the product while visiting my boyfriend in Switzerland, and he mentioned that it was the best in the market. He is good with such things. When I went to Best Buy to clean & update my laptop, they mentioned that the product was part of a 3 year package they offered; I decided to give a try.

This security system has considerably more protection than anything I have used before. It keeps passwords and money transactions protected with a secure screen and keyboard when I purchase online. Scans are thorough and automatic. Updates are kept up to date. I really do feel secure with Kaspersky.

This is my second time using Kapersky to protect our PCs. During the first year my son who loves online gaming and seems to be a virus magnet managed to run into over 10,000 pieces of malware and viruses and I'm not kidding, within 3 days of expiration of the initial 12 months of protection his laptop was nearly crippled with crud. We took it back to Best Buy and we subscribed once again to the Geek Squad service and selected Kapersky for our protection. It's been nearly 3 months and no trouble at all. We will never let the subscription expire with Kapersky again!!

We purchased this after our laptop was infested with adware/malware, etc. The laptop was virtually useless, it was that bad. I installed this thinking I would have to reset my computer. To my great surprise, Kaspersky Internet Security has completely resolved the issues w/o having to further mess with the laptop. I really wasn't expecting it to be able to eradicate the malicious adware that I believe was attached to root files, but it did. Super happy with this product. Also love the non-invasive nature of this product. It does not interfere or slow anything down. Fantastic!

This antivirus is good the only thing is that it is constantly asking for me to turn on the firewall. I have the firewall active using Kapersky but it still continues to ask to tuen on.Other than that it is a very good product.

If it's free, it's for me; and I scored this disc for free when purchasing my laptop. It's a pretty standard anti-virus. The best feature is that it will completely remove McAfee if you want it to. If you've ever tried to rid your system of that one, you know just how difficult it can be at times.

I've had this over a month and it seems to work well. It came free with the purchase of my computer. I didn't realize at the time of purchase that it is only a one year subscription.. I may revert back to the Comcast security after the subscription since theirs is free with the internet service.

Great software. if you do not have a disk drive you can download it from the companies website. Only issue is that every 30 minutes it tells me "website certificate can not be validated" and if you stay on that website, it will show up every 30 minutes and there's no way to get rid of it.

This came free when I bought my laptop as a rewards member (which is free to join) so it was a welcome addition to the purchase. While it may only be for six months, it's still free. Gives you plenty of time to shop around for an anti-virus program or to just renew when the 6 months is up.

It was a little tuff to get initially setup, but once I did I am very happy with its performance and manageability. It does a good job of notifying you of potential risks. I also have it installed on my tablet and phone and it does a good job of managing the three and keeping them in sync.

I purchased this along with a 3 year protection plan from Best Buy for our new HP Spectre laptop. I did the installation. This went very smooth. One doesn't need the Geek Squad to perform this task. The Kaspersky software had better online reviews than the other two internet security software options being offered by BB. The one issue I have with it is it keeps thinking our secured home wifi is an unsecured public network. I appreciate the warning, but our home network is private and very secure. I'll have to research why this message keeps coming up.

Easy download process when you have the disc. Subscription included coverage for 3 devices and took some time to figure out how to add it to my android cell phone. Finally discovered I had to download an app and then input my subscription info. After that, no problems. Overall solid software.

So far it seems to be doing the same security that the free protection we had previously. Of course it is not clear what issues it has helped us avoid, but we did not have issues before. This was stressed as a purchase by the BB technician. Would recommend it mainly for that reason.

Security software has to constantly adapt to new threats. Loading Kaspersky on an old computer which I thought compromised; confirmed a virus. Based on the folder dates; it was missed repeatedly by a current version of McAfee. Definitely have more confidence in it than its competitors

I have been using Kaspersky for several years already. I just bought it this time because it was free. I already have a subscription and have not had problems with the software. I am sure it will be a challenge to apply my new device to my old subscription when the purchased license ends.

What's to complain about, it was 6 months free with purchase of laptop. I didn't read reviews to compare this to other available security packages available, but will research before renewing. It protects 3 devices, which is comparable to other IS. Scans work similar to McAffey

I really didn't research. Two different team members each suggested something different. Seemed to be based on their personal preference. I was buying the maintenance package and this one seemed to have more options for the tech to use if needed. That is the only reason I purchased this one.
