Moved out of Charter Spectrum area (which provided on line protection, never had a problem). Best Buy recommend Kaspersky Internet Security as replacement protection for our two laptops. Some annoying unneeded interruptions with programming wanting to intercede when not needed. But after only two weeks, I got a malware attack and Kaspersky let it get on my computer and then could not get rid or it. I called their tech support and they said there was nothing they could do about it and I would have to schedule an appointment and take my laptop to the store (a 1 1/4 hour drive away) to clean it. Now I'm stuck with a big "Malware Detected" square on my screen that I can't get rid of and when I click on "Disinfect and restart computer" it locks up and can't disinfect as needed. I have to reboot and ignore the 3" square window on my screen until I can get into town to have them look at it.

I bought this to protect my desktop and laptops in my household. This will work better than McAfee downloading and interrupting programs on your devices.

Don't even know it's there, until it finds something bad going on. Runs in background until needed. Could not detect any slow down in performance

I love this anti-virus because it completely protects my computer with no issues.

I like this Internet security software, even though Best Buy and the U.S. government no longer trust it because it’s Russian. In the past, I’ve used McAfee, AVG, Avast, Avira, and Comodo security software, among others, and they’re all inferior to Kaspersky in my opinion, especially in intuitiveness, ease of use, compatibility with applications, false positives, and system impact. I’m giving it four stars instead of five because of the political controversy surrounding it, but I intend to keep using it until convinced otherwise not to.

Not sure how to really rate as I never used the product itself. I will rate it based upon the fact that it was free with the purchase of the laptop we purchased. We have Charter Cable so we didn't need to install this program for protection as their program already had us covered.

Nice complete protection for your computers,tablets and smartphones. Not requires to much hard disk space, and does not make your computer slower that the competitors antivirus protections. Everyday makes an update of the database and has the option to make quick scan or complete scan. Really protect from new virus, every time a virus is try to be installed on your systems they detect a pop up an alert so you can know what to do.

Kaspersky Internet Security is effective at stopping viruses and other malware and runs quietly in the background without affecting any work I may be doing. Updates are smooth and scans are usually quick and efficient. The protected browser it offers is a nice additional feature. The multi-device version is also reasonably priced. If you're going to purchase anti-virus software, choose Kaspersky.

When purchasing my new laptop back in November 2016 (4 months ago,) I was told I would receive a FREE anti virus "sample" (it's only valid for 3 months--at least with this one; I'm not sure about the other choices.) I was told by both the Best Buy sales associate who was helping me, but also my best friend (who knows a good amount about tech) that Kapersky is one of the top anti-virus softwares out there currently. So heeding their advice, I decided to go with Kapersky. I believe it's doing a great job at protecting my computer, although it's security is so good that it can sometimes be annoying just in little ways. For example: if I go to my credit card or bank's website, Kapersky then prompts me to ask if I want to continue in my current browser or open the tab in a 'protected' browser. I find this slightly annoying becuase I just want to get to where I'm going without having to be stopped to answer a question (although there is an option for you to click 'remember my choice for this site' so you won't always be prompted with that question if you don't want to. It's just really miniscule things like that I've actually never experienced before with an anti-virus software, so maybe I find it just slightly annoying because I'm not used to it. But if you are more paranoid about your personal information (especially financial information) online, I'm sure this would be something you'd appreciate. All-in-all it's not a bad choice for a free (for the first three months, then you have to renew) anti-virus software. I'd give it a 7.5 out of 10.

Not sure if it works,i scan Kaspersky and says no threats found,then Microsoft warnings keep popping up saying that its critical??

I've had Kaspersky for years and like the performance compared to complicated Nortons, not to mention a bunch of other ones. It does it's thing in the back ground and leaves me alone for the most part, this is a nice program!

It is nyc. I am glad that it came with my computer and u can be able to use it on other devices as well :)

What can I say about the antivirus program from Kaspersky. We extended the trial period that comes with the desktop we purchased and have not had any issues with this antivirus software since installing.

I like the feature where it protects your credit cards and takes you to a safe window.

Kaspersky anti-virus performance has always been a top rated brand in almost every review or test lab report I've read. This is first time I've tried it as part of a free bundle item with my new all-in-one pc. The footprint of Kaspersky on my pc is one fifth the size of the pre-installed McAfee suite: from 500 Mb down to less than 100 Mb. The usability design of Kaspersky is a little more advanced than most simple set and forget suites; which I think is better for people who like to customize their protection. This item came to me in a plastic disc box but does not come with a physical disc; you must download the suite with the supplied code from the disc box. Overall a great product; wish they had a 'free' version of their anti-virus like a small number of other companies who do.

At first I wasn’t sure about this antivirus but after few weeks of using it on my computer. It’s easy to use and friendly user interface. Sure will recommend to anyone.
