It is protecting the laptop and desktop. Dell dock software on Window Vista Utlimate does not work with Kaspersky.

Overall this new security software and the level of protection it provides is excellent and has flagged several hidden viruses, malwares, trojans and other intrusive, destructive programs.

Best Buy staff recommended this product after I complained about the other 2 brands I had used. At the time they said it was the best on the market - and while I don't know if this is still true, I am happy with the results. No malware, and the few times a virus tried to enter my system, Kaspersky identified it and removed it immediately - and notified my at once. The scanning process is a breeze whether it's done on a set schedule or manually. The only thing I cannot comment on is the Parental Controls, as I have no use for this as I am the only user of my computers.

It took hours to install and once installed it interferred with my machine's run time until it was almost unuable. I also kept getting a message telling me that it needed to be brought up to date. When I would ask it to update it would tell me that it was up to date.

Easy to install, I feel that my computers are safe from viruses and threats. The price is great.

Installation was way too hard. I was upgrading from a different Kaspersky product and ended up haveing to de-install the old version and then install the new one. When I tried to use the second lisence, I ended up buying a second version. However, once the pain of installation was done, the tool really does work.

Over the years I have used all of the other virus/internet protection software and Kaspersky is by far the best and most effective. I would never consider using any other program.

Kaspersky is rated number one in the US and is the main Anti-Virus recommended by GeekSquad. Its very simple to install. Love this product. Trend Micro is great too!

Once installed it seems to do its job, but it was very difficult for a non-techie to install. Instructions assumed user knew a lot about computers. No clear directions what to do when it finds a problem.
