not what I expected
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this radio for it's Bluetooth function, more than any other features. However, after the installation was completed, and I left Best Buy, I was unable to get the phone screen to work. I went thru the manual, removed my phone, from the Bluetooth service, - my phone works for Pandora, and, it will receive calls. I re-installed the phone, still no luck. I made a 2nd appt. with Best Buy, and they had no luck. The tech said that my phone is not compatible with the unit. Seems odd, that all other functions work, but the phone screen. My phone is only 9 months old, and it's an LG V10. According to the Kenwood site, it is not listed. For me, that was not even on the list of things to look for. the unit overall is not a bad unit. Screen response is a bit slow, about 2-3 seconds to switch.. When you 1st turn it on, it takes about 20 seconds to come to life. I have another appointment, to have it removed, and returned. Not sure where we go from here.

Don't Bother
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Kenwood used to mean something and take pride in their quality; Apparently those days are no more. This stereo has been nothing short of problematic and frankly I wish I could swap it out and get my money back. The bluetooth is hit and miss on connectivity and frequently "lock up" where I have to pull over and reset the vehicle or hold down the Power and another button to preform a hard reset. The volume increases considerably when there is a call that connects and when the call concludes, the radio sound is notably louder than when you took the call. I've reached out to customer service at Kenwood and had no response other than the canned response via auto generated email. Either way, save your money for another brand and keep looking. The only reason I gave this two stars instead of one is that the sound is clear from the unit...when it works.

Ok system
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The radio is pretty good but the radio lacks, remote, and the navigation of how to use is pathetic. Better receiver a lot cheaper are available. The guy lied to me all through the buying and even with the installation.

Crashes and is slow to start up
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a Jeep Unlimited with a hard top, so I thought installation might be an issue. It wasn't! However, the unit itself keeps crashing frequently, and when it loads up again, from my phone, it doesn't recognize the device at all, or it comes back REALLY loud. Great ideas, but I think something got lost when putting this together. Since I purchased it for the access to my phone, I think I was a little let down.

Works Sporadically
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purchased a new car stereo to replace the stereo in our 2006 Suburban. Not a great stereo, but new. We paid a fair price for it, then we asked for installation. Big mistake. It was a FORTUNE, and the stereo works sporadically, as if a connection or wire is loose. After two months--not even two months. Our thoughts on the whole experience? Eh.

Not satisfied
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When using the touchscreen, it takes 3-4 seconds for it to respond when I'm using certain features (most features). I usually have to unplug and plug my phone back in for it to sync back up with the radio.
