This Apple CarPlay that I got was the best. Helps me get places. Better then the regular radio I have before

Initially, I was concerned about how a new, non factory, radio would look and if it would be aesthetically pleasing and not Jimmy rigged. I was not only satisfied with the outcome of the look after installation but also love the radio and functions so far!

This is a great radio for the price when it works. Apple car play works when it wants too. It disconnects itself frequently and I have to unplug my phone and plug it back in (sometimes multiple times) for it to work. Also, it doesn’t connect all the time when my phone gets plugged in when just getting in the car. Again I constantly have to plug and un-plug to get it to work.Its frustrating because the radio is only 4 months old. I do not recommend.

This head unit had every feature I was looking for and then some!

This stereo has a great sound and I love the functionality and the fact that it has both a cd player and Apple play. The negative is that the stereo sometimes fails/pauses on occasion when using CarPlay, especially when using the cd player at the same time. Only happens occasionally, but aggravating when it does. But, the price was reasonable.

I had a factory radio in my car, so this was a major upgrade for me. I love the sound quality of the Kenwood stereo and the East of hooking up and using it. I am sure I have not figured out everything you can do but I use the Apple CarPlay and love it, I also enjoy using the Waze app on there as well as Google maps and Apple Maps having Bluetooth is huge and the microphone that came with the unit is great quality and works well. I went to several shops and they sold this unit but told me it was not a high end unit and try to sell me something else. However, I am very happy that I bought this unit. I would not waste money buying something more expensive . I have even watch DVDs on this unit and they are great quality and sound really good.

I bought this radio for a 2008 Escape, simply to get Apple Car Play. The Car Play works well. It initially kept dropping the connection, but I changed cables, and also connected the phone via bluetooth as well, and suddenly all the dropped connections stopped. I also use the hands free phone feature, which also works pretty well. My only complaint is that the user interface is pretty awful. It takes a LOT of getting used to and a lot of experimenting to find all the hidden features and settings. A lot of the reviews here are mentioning the "jumping time" issue where the clock won't stay set. There is an easy fix, in a hidden setting. Open the radio app, open the slide out setting on the left tab and click "set up." Go to the RDS-CT setting and turn it OFF! Your clock should stay set from now on.

Great unit, just wish it had some physical controls, instead only touchscreen. It is hard sometime to use controls when driving.

Great head unit for the price and installation was straight forward. Depending on the application, professional install may be needed, It was installed on my Porsche and it look and works fantastic. Android auto is amazing.

Had it installed by Best Buy service members had to get an extra piece for the install. So far so good small issues here and there with screen delay but fits nice works good.

Has all the features I want in a car stereo. Plays CDs, Amazon Music through Bluetooth, and showsmy backup csmera when I'm in reverse. Highly recommend!

The receiver works great, plus the open box price was a great savings. Sounds great with my existing speakers in my 2008 Mustang GT convertible.

Works well, sometimes the mic seems to miss what I'm saying but its a lot better than the original radio that came with my car. I mostly wanted this for connectivity to my phone for navigation and media, it does that well so far. I also added a wireless adapter so I don't have to physically connect to my phone.

This Kenwood screen does the job! The sound quality is good, Apple CarPlay functions and features work as expected and the back-up camera picture comes in clear! However, Kenwood settings and controls are a bit difficult to navigate.

I bought a new radio for my vehicle from Best Buy and had them do the installation. Everything from start to finish was great. The sales people who helped me to pick out the right radio and the installer. I am completely satisfied with the level of professionalism I was given and the quality of the product I received.
