The inability to turn down the brightness of the screen and the lack of updated features comparable to some of the new technology is disappointing. I called Kenwood directly about the DDX9703S and there were no changes. The price of the unit is way to high for what you get, but it beats the stock radio and I can use my Apple phone with this radio.

we bought one of these for both our girls for Christmas and they both love them. best buy sales clercks and installers were very professional and knowledgeable.

it actually don't work that great like it freezes up an takes a few times for things to work on it I really want best buy to look at it an make sure that it works right

I purchased this stereo as a gift for my wife. She loves the look and the features it has but suggests there is a better way they could have set up the layout.

Absolutely love the features and it is very easy to use. The HD radio coverts automatically to Analog. Great feature to have when driving.

Very good product and very user friendly. One glitch that I have encountered on a few occasions is the automatic reboot/restart. It doesn't reset your settings or change anything significantly; it's just annoying due to the long restart process. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase.

I bought a JVC car stereo set last year and after just one year the DVD player start skipping.

A lot different than the first – deck I bought "Kenwood 911"which I bought in 2004. This new kenwood is amazing also 5star

So far it's been a very nice head unit but in my opinion. . android auto is overrated. This may be due to my S5 and/or my service provider but Google maps has some serious connection issues. I.e sometimes it loads and sometimes it won't.. This is usually remedied by restarting my phone and/or head unit though. As of right now. . Google play is the only way I can play the music that's stored on my phone, the back up camera will occasionally freeze and it would be nice if it had a detachable face as well as a micro sd slot on the front. Other than that. . Power/sound is great! Layout is easy to setup and navigate, startup time is average and at its core. . It does everything you would expect a head unit in this price point to do. The only reason why I'm giving it 4 stars is because of the issues I mentioned above

Very pleased with this receiver. Could not ask for more. Geek squad did a great job installing and going over all the features. Very pleased with my choice.

The screen can be really bright at night, but not bright enough during the day time. Overall worth the money. Just like having a navigation system using the apple car play.

After reading some reviews and having Android auto, I decided to go with the higher priced stereo. I had the Geek Squad install the stereo with a back-up camera. The stereo works fine. I had issues getting Android Auto to work consistently. The features like vehicle status and other advance features don't work which was a selling point but not a deal breaker. Most of the features I was told about didn't work. Overall I like the stereo but will not have geek squad install anything for me again.

Great product! After flash update, unit was more responsive. Easy to update. Downloaded update to usb flash drive, plugged it in, went through settings to update and done.
