Front speaker output failed after two days. Sure, Best Buy will exchange it, but now I get to uninstall it, drive to the store and back, resolder the wiring harness, reinstall it, reconfigure it, etc. There goes half a day that I'll never see again.

    PERFECT

For my use the Kenwood DPX304MBT was the perfect 2-DIN System. My focus was just on the music so I didn't care to waste money on options with back up camera, Navigation system. or other gimmicks. In fact, the DPX304 offers so many good media choices there wasn't any need for a CD player either,. This Mechless receiver has no moving parts to break. Receiver was pretty easy to install and you can do it yourself. The sound quality does a decent job enhancing the stock speakers so there's really no need spending the extra money on an Excerlon receiver unless you're going to upgrade your speakers as well. The Bluetooth pairs instantly and works perfect with Spotify, Pandora. Alexa, etc. The phone works crystal clear on both ends with its quality Mic. I only had to initiate the Bluetooth once so far and every time i get into my car with my Android phone it pairs to the Kenwood automatically on its own, I haven't lost a connection yet. In addition, when i disconnected my battery the internal memory was a big bonus, it saved all my settings and even the clock time. The The USB option is great, I can dump 1000s of songs on a thumb drive and never have to go without music through remote areas when there's no radio reception or phone connection. Bottom Line. If you're on a budget the DPX304MBT is a great choice, but if you're looking for a bigger upgrade and want the highest sound quality then you better be prepared to get your check book out, it won't be cheap.

Description lines says there is a remote, yes. What is included in the box section says radio, wiring. On the overall description it mentions nothing about a remote control. There is no remote control for this radio. Please correct the website.

Just don't. After one month all of the RDS data and iPod data stopped showing up on the LCD, then eavery time I tried firing up Pandora the LCD would flash "reading" and nothing else. The Pandora interface essentially put up a black screen on my iPhone which said Kenwood <=> Pandora so you could only use the transport controls on the receiver, then the Bluetooth started acting up. Sometimes you took a call and it worked, other times it didn't, more often than not people couldn't hear me - at all. I want to say the Bluetooth issue could be a result of the microphone's placement, but upon ripping this receiver out and replacing it with a SONY, go figure - no issues. Do yourself a favor, don't but this poorly made product with its' inherent issues. I expected better from Kenwood and this receiver just let me down in every way possible.
