I state this as I have had numerous problems with prior in-dash car stereos. The problem with other stereos is that while driving with the iPod plugged in and running, I would hit a bump and the stereo would skip like a CD does in a cheap system, then it would reset, and search for the plugged in item. My lowered Chevy S-10 doesn't ride that rough but stereos just don't last. This stereo is holding up very well. It functions excellently with the factory speakers, and has an excellent sound. Another issue with other stereos is the lighting. At night it is too bright no matter how dim you make the settings. This stereo is not obnoxious and is easy to work with and see around. The only problem I am having with this model is that some of the read-out lights do not work, so there is a little disparity when I am looking at the read-out to see what is playing. I only wished that it came in black to mach my dash. Happy customer thus far!

Installers had trouble wiring steering wheel controls,but finally figured it out:)

Chose this stereo for its outdoors ability. Installed in my bike and it is doing great. Nobody can hear me on the blue tooth though, the mike picks up the wind and bike noise, and drowns me out. Antenna picks up my ambient static if I'm touching ground and bike at same time and it comes through stereo as white noises and I need to try different antenna and add a ground to radio chassis to isolate it. Other than this the stereo would be perfect.

No problems up to this point, but I have only had the stereo for less than a month...Ask me again in about a year!

I love this receiver. It has all the settings you need, especially if you're pushing subwoofers.
