No problems connecting any device, just change it to proper input source and go! This is my experience via Iphone, I would assume android should work just as flawless.

We chose this deck for my daughters truck. We have other Kenwood products and love that this one has Bluetooth and is HD.

My purchase of this radio (head unit) began simply to find a better way to listen to podcasts. My factory car radio was basic with just radio and CD (no aux, USB or Bluetooth) and I suffered in the purgatory of an FM transmitter which is a lousy solution if you live in an area of dense radio stations. Surprisingly, it wasn’t all that much more to get this radio rather than just something that added aux or USB. It works better than I could have imagined to listen to podcasts from an iPhone 6. Connect with a cord once and the phone gets linked automatically and the Bluetooth works flawlessly. If you are listening to a podcast and you turn off the car, the podcast is paused and resumes when you return and start the car. The podcast pauses when you get a phone call. You can pause, rewind, fast forward the podcast or choose the next podcast right from the radio controls. Awesome sound, controls on the radio, stops and starts when I would want it to: I’m in podcast heaven now. When I listen to radio, I now use HD and really appreciate the extra stations available (like an oldies station) and improved sound. The phone works great with voice control (and Siri if have it and the internet on). You can store six numbers on the six tuning buttons and can easily access phone history and contact list with a few clicks and turns on the radio controls. Major features: Really works with an iPhone 6 (be careful some units don’t. The Kenwood site will tell you what units work with your phone) Bluetooth HD Radio Aux and USB for hooking up other devices and your friends’ devices quickly CD player (just in case someone gives you a mixtape CD) Pandora and iHeartRadio built in, but I haven’t used those A Sirius tuner can be added (extra) Really, everything is great about this unit except one thing: it can sometimes be hard to read the display. It seems to be a combination of the reflectiveness of the front panel and the less-than-intense LEDs. Obviously, this is an issue only during certain times of the day when driving in a certain direction, but this is an annoying weakness of many similar Kenwood receivers. Even though it has about two dozen display color options, white is not a preset option. It was enough of an issue for me that I took a small piece of black poster paper and jammed it in around the unit to help. Also, you can select your own custom color based on R/G/B -- just choose the max for each to get white. If it will drive you nuts that there may be a time during some daylight hours when it is hard to read the display, then get another unit. That issue prevented me from giving it 5 stars. Otherwise, this is a very good unit with a great feature set and it seems to fully work with an iPhone6.

I bought this strerio for our 1973 VW Super Beetle. The strerio looks really great installed the blue tooth hands free option works great.

HD radio stations sound incredible. BT connection is seemless and very user friendly. Logically designed and over all a very nice unit.

Got this to replace my factory stereo and receive HD stations. Nothing fancy but it works just fine. The sound doesn't seem to be any better than the factory one it replaced in my GT500, but it's nice getting the HD channels!

kind of hard to tune, too many different settings, decent but rather have gotten something else if i knew how difficult this deck would be

wasnt installed properly. Every time I turn my truck on my speakers make a loud popping noise. And it blew out one of my speakers. I don't even listen to my music loud because I have kids so I know the problem wasn't from me.

Bought for my son's car who went to college. He loves it, was a great value for what I paid. This is my second Kenwood stereo and the quality has not disappointed!!
