Just Okay

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got these to replace some old Concertone speakers in my Rockwood trailer in order to actually have stereo sound with my new 50 watt irv36 radio. These are actually about 5” of speaker with a 3/4” mounting flange around the outside(total dia. 6.5”). The mounting flange does provide for a number of mounting options which I found useful since I already had 6” holes cut for the old speakers I replaced. Had to get some larger screws though in order to mount the grills after the speakers were mounted using the outer half-moon slots. Sound is okay but not much better than the old 6” ones, one of which I left mounted on the other side of the trailer for surround. I would have to say the highs are a bit more crispy with the tweeters though. Bass is just okay, not booming. Inexpensive alternative that most buyers would be satisfied with for an ordinary application.

Decent for the price.

Catch them on sale for a better deal. They don't come with the rings to connect to your car. But decent speakers when on sale .
