I've always loved Kenwood sound & price..these are no different.

Excellent speakers. Installed 4 in the doors of my 08 GMC Sierra. Given they have cloth cones the bass is still very clean, no fuzz, even with the EQ increased. Highs are clean and clear. I have been able to run customized EQ settings, increased bass, mid range and treble, giving me much better sound at lower volumes. A very nice quality speaker.

I replaced four SUV Tahoe speakers with four of these Kenwood Road Series 6-1/2" 2-Way Speakers. ( I purchased two sets ). These are a perfect fit in the four doors of my Tahoe SUV. The sound quality is much better than the original OEM speakers that Chevrolet had in there. The price point of these speakers are also outstanding.

These are the least expensive speakers sold in the stores so I wouldn't expect a lot from them. They have a significantly better clarity in highs and mids than factory speakers but they lack bass. The factory paper hits deeper and harder in that regards. They can respond below the 40hz rating if you're just testing to hear them, but they don't sound good and they don't hit hard at all. So Ideally these would be paired with some 6x9 or a sub to make up for the lack of bass in the 6 1/2s if you want good bass. You can kick in a 6db bass boost in your equalizer for a better sound from what I've experimented with but beyond that they just start having a bass warble and again don't sound good. But for a $30-40 set they're often less expensive that replacing with OEM and I do like the better clarity of sound they offer over factory. So for upgrading an old Civic's stock speakers for a learner car they did just fine for the need at ahand.

Just what I needed in my life, clean tones , clear vocals. These speakers for the price can’t complain and really have no complaints. Easy install. If your looking for something flashy these can be them all depends on how you wanna hear your music
