So for reference these are residing the back doors on my Trailblazer circa 07. I had the bar set very low since one speaker in the whole thing worked. It’s an off-roading and mud eating machine so I didn’t want to go with something too expensive. Overall the mounting plates has plenty of holes, problem being alignment with the factory drilled on the trailblazers pods were a little off for my taste. How do they sound? Well. Sit down for this. Not bad. They get loud off 15 rms. The mid bass is literally unbearable when it resonates. Get those foam bass buckets for these. I promise you you’d thank me later lol. Overall for the price I think you know what you’re getting. You’re not getting Harmon Kardon quality at this price point. You’re getting speakers that work. Cheers!

A little over a year after installing, my passenger side speaker has gotten weak and barely plays sound. If I hit a bump in the road, it sort of fixes itself until I hit another bump. I double checked to make sure it wasn't my wire connections either. They're solid. I have to physically push against the paper part of the speaker to get it to work properly, which indicates that there's a bad wire at the speaker's core that goes to the actual wires of the car radio. Since I never touched this area, this just shows that the speaker wasn't made to the best quality. At least they sound good for the price when they work!
