The single serve component works as designed. Customer Service was responsive to our problem and sent a replacement however it has the same flaw. We decided to keep the replacement and have been using it for two months. We are disappointed in the product's quality but do appreciate the customer service response.

However, when using the pod option very often I must repeat the process to get the unit to function-doesn't always produce coffee on the first try. Hoping this is something that resolves itself with time. Also, the price could be less, more in keeping with the all black machine.

We appreciate that one reservoir supplies both the pot and single cup unlike our old one that required filling a separate reservoir for each function. Easy to clean. Only complaint is that longer fingernails make it more difficult to flip open the lid on the pot.
