I have used my kitchenaid recipe books and Pinterest to find many yummy ice cream varieties. You are able to make exactly what you want and I am able to make diabetic friendly ice cream! Make sure the bowl is completely frozen during use. Using this attachment does create a different texture. When it comes out of the bowl, it is very smooth like and ice cream to purchase. After it has been in the freezer for a bit, the texture becomes a little icy like.

This is much easier than I thought it would be. Mix up your ice cream mix, take the bowl from the freezer, put on the dasher, turn it on and add your mix. That's all there is to it. When it ice cream is thickened and frozen it will slow down the mixer some. That is when you need to watch. Stop it and take the contents, put it into another container or leave it in the bowl and put back into the freezer (but be ready to use a heated scoop if you do because the ice cream will be kept very frozen for a while by the cold bowl. Great gadget, very happy I got it!

I have used this maker several and it works great. Be sure to follow directions and you will not have any trouble. Most ice cream takes only 20 minutes to complete.

Im lactose intolerant and always struggled with finding good ice cream that I could consume this set was my solution. I now have various flavors of homemade ice cream in my freezer. I did have to watch a YouTube video the first time I used it because the instructions werent very clear. Its easy though. Buy good containers to store your icecream in so it doesnt get freezer burn.

Works great for quick ice cream. Ice cream is best when served right out of this machine although it will be on the soft side. Does a great job for a relatively inexpensive machine compared to others like the Breville.

This makes it super easy to make ice cream at home! You have to freeze it for 15 hours before you can use it so we just keep it in the freezer so it's always ready. It's fun to try weird flavors out in small batches whenever you feel like it.

It's the best ice cream I've ever eaten. I had it on the mixer for twenty minutes it was still runny. The ice cream at the bottom of the bowl was firmer put in freezer overnight and it was just right

I love it, this equipment makes great home made ice cream, all natural, because you know what's in it, and you can control the amount of sugar you put in it too.

We used this to make ice cream. I tried to cook a rib eye on it, but failed miserably. Lit makes great ice cream and terrible steaks.

Who wouldn't want to make any flavor of ice cream right at home?! This ice cream maker is so easy to set up, use and clean. It works with pretty much any ice cream recipe I've found.

It made a batch of ice cream that was super creamy...but when I tried to make gelato...not so good. I feel this product is a bit flimsy...why isn't it made from metal like all the other attachments??!!

The KitchenAid ice cream maker was a gift for my daughter-in-law's new KitchenAid mixer she got for Christmas. They have used it several times now and they're more than pleased with the end results. Thank you so much for a great product.

This is an awesome attachment for the Kitchenaid mixer. You can make all kinds of ice cream/gelatos/frozen yogurt.

I didnt think this device would be as great as it is. Saved a ton of my precious time using this versus the traditional ice cream maker. I'm very pleased. Please just follow instructions included In box.

I bought this to make Keto Ice Cream...this is very good for making fantastic ice cream and you have the control of what goes into your treats! I do recommend this however, I wish it was made as well as their other attachments!

We used this to make Orange Sherbet ,easy to use works great. This is just the thing for people that have to watch what is in things they eat. [gluten free]

This works wonderfully for small batches of homemade ice cream. Easy clean up.
