I've had it in the freezer 3 times. So far no blue goo at the bottom or around the rim. But I am a little scared that it's going to happen.

This will make ice cream, but left us wanting more. Just a little basic for the price.

It makes a decent salary and turns it into melted milkshake. Do not expect it to turn into soft serve before putting it in the freezer.

Didn't realize I had to pre-freeze before using. It wasn;t a great experience.

Concerned about leaking fluid thus far no issues. Will see if it leaks and report back

I was not impressed. It doesn't really make ice cream it just makes a chilled mixture that you then freeze into a hard ice cream. The same can be accomplished with a chilled mixing bowl.

Super cold ice is a plus but it does take a while.

overpriced for the amount work involved and time to make a cup of ice cream. Better to just buy your favorite ice cream at the store or locally. Recommended for those who want to make a custom flavor

Need to include a more detailed recipe instruction book.

It's ok not what I thought at all I used it as directed and used a couple or kitchen tricks and it didn't freeze I had a milk shake consistency if I could return it I would.

The drive assembly that came with my KitchenAid KICA0WH Ice Cream Maker was not the same as the one pictured.

Product didn’t make ice cream like I had expected. I was attempting dairy free ice cream so that could be why.

Too many pieces, effort, and maintenance. Takes a long time to make ice cream when you have to freeze the bowl.

I tried 3 recipes to make ice cream. I put the container in the freezer for 3 days and it melts within 2 hours....No ice cream and very frustrating. Very disappointed with the kitchen aid on these accessories. Don't waste your money

Was hopeful it would make a decent batch of ice cream, tried it out 3 times, each time making sure to follow the steps correctly and it would just get completely stuck, or would just snap and pop around the stem of the machine.

Bought the last box on the shelf. Opened Christmas morning and discovered that it had been used. Took it back to Bestbuy. They have ordered me a new one and shipped directly to my house.

Don't waste your money of this! Freeze overnight...put in your "pending" product. Turn it on...then wait for it to stay the same. Remove from maker, pour into your old stand bye ice cream maker. Watch that one make the product the kitchenaid cant make.

the product was previously used and when I attempted to return it I was declined. the bowl is scratched, the paddle was broken!! I want this item replaced!!

For Christmas I bought the wife (myself) a Kitchen Aid mixer and decided shortly after it was time to buy some of the wonderful gadgets that go with it. So far the grinder and sausage attachment have been outstanding so I figured I'd jump into the world of homemade ice cream and the ice cream maker attachment is fantastic. So far in the month that I've owned it I've made 6 different flavors of ice cream and two sorbets, next up is Cherry Cheesecake Frozen Yogurt. It's simple to use, easy to clean and the ice cream turns out awesome. If you don't mind doing a little internet research you can find super ice cream and yogurt recipes that can be made in a snap with this attachment. Just be prepared to give the ice cream a little extra time in the freezer as the finished product is more like a soft serve ice cream. My only knock on the maker is I wish it had a bigger freezing bowl. Bigger bowl equals more ice cream!
