Very surprisingly fun remake of a Van Damme classic. Story characters really carry it well.

This in some ways pays homage to the original, but doesn't have the same classic energy

It's not as good as the original, but it is a movie worth seeing and has many moments that make reference and homage to the original. Highly recommended for fans of revenge films, martial arts and fans of Jean Claude Van Damme.

A must see for any Van Damme fan! A great re-telling of a classic movie. It pays a proper homage to the original. It's awesome to see Van Damme continuing on in this update, and seeing him from student years ago to now master.
