The sound is mediocre, not what I expected from kicker

Kicker makes a great speaker. I just wanted to upgrade to a nicer speaker.

Returned. Did not sound good and fit well with honda sedan.

After doing some resurge i decided to get the JBL speakers instead

Bought these for my 16 mustang gt premium stock system and they both blew in 2 months and neither bestbuy or kicker tried to help me kicker wanted me to send them back and have them fixed instead of sending me a new set or giving me my money back if they cant handle a stock system they definitely wouldn't handle a upgraded system

Thanks these speakers are out standing quality’s with perfect highlights and accessories that matter most sounds perfect with kicker components like amplifier addition

COULDNT HANDLE A RADIO WITH NO AMP DISTORTED SHOULD OF BOUGHT KENWOOD

You’ll be surprised with the performance of these speakers given their price. I currently only run these 2 speakers in my car and they do their job!! Good bass if you’re not a bass head (I personally am and it’s still solid for just speakers alone). Currently I’m able to run a volume level of 30/33 (about 90%) before I start to hear clipping. I run these thru an aftermarket head unit, no amplifier, so I can’t wait to hear these speakers using their actual RMS rating!

Put these in my 2002 jeep. Didnt last long . I think it was the heat that got to them. Had them mounted to the over head sound bar and within 2 months started to buzz. Wont be wasting my money on these again.

Nice sounds but could be a little stronger sound with the Bass that comes out

Bought the wrong size sense i didnt think 5 8s went in the front doors

meh speakers, cant even handle the ampridge on the box and sounds kinda crappy

I give it a 2 star because it did not sound right for my car. I own a 91 Camaro and driver side speaker does not fit well with these speakers.

I'm actually REALLY disappointed in these speakers. I have never owned a pair of Kicker speakers, and likely never will again. They have absolutely ZERO bass response in them. I actually can't even turn my deck up enough to hear a decent reproduction of full sound from them. I have been an audiophile for many years, and have never been so let down by a speaker, let alone one I paid decent money for. I would return them if I could. Please, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. ALTOGETHER SAD FACT: my wife's Hyundai has better factory speakers than this.

This speakers are rated for 100 whats rms and 300w peak, i didint even put 50w and one of the speakers blew off i threw the box away so i couldn't get a refund but i also bought a pair of JBLs and those are great pretty dissatisfied with the quality of this

Not bad for entry level. Upgrade over stock speakers, but won't win and sound contests.

Terrible customer support, muddy sound. Misleading appearance/inconsistent product description from Kicker website to BestBuy website/box - lots of effort to drill speaker mount prongs down to fit in vintage car (to use original speaker grills) and then couldn't return. Barely heard back from company - would NOT recommend.
