I bought the 6x9's for my wifes car and fell in love with the sound so much so that I bought another set for the rears as well as this set for my personal vehicle. I do plan on getting an amp for them as I know they will definitely perform well with more power than my headunit cant supply. Plus you cant go wrong with Kicker products. For reference I have these in our Dodge Magnum SXT and SRT8 as well as my 350Z.

Great Replacements in 94 YJ Soundbar

Can’t compare to the old speakers (they were too far gone) but I’ve had some good quality speakers in other vehicles that these are comparable with, The bass out of these is great, if your want the bass feel of a sub these aren’t a substitute but definitely strong punchy bass for their size. Tweeters are crisp. I’m running them through an 80w/ channel amp, note sure how they would sound without. After install had lots it rattles in sound bar because of bass so I stuffed it with poly fill and problem solve.
