Pros: Clean punchy bass. Well defined vocals. Highs are surprisingly clear but not overly bright. Included speaker adapters fit perfectly. Cons: Cheap in-line capacitor type crossovers. No foam gaskets. Only enough butyl rubber to fill small holes. Included screws are cheap. Definitely requires an amp to sound their best. Summary: I never intended to use the included crossovers. I paired the speakers with a Kicker Key 200.4 amp and used Bi-Amp mode and Auto-EQ to apply crossover and DSP to them. With that tiny amp they sound fantastic. Bass from the 6x9s is much more impressive than I expected. I really like that the 2.75-inch midrange "tweeters" are not ear-piercingly bright. In fact, since frequencies above 320Hz come from the highs, it elevates the vocals and the sound stage up to my dashboard. I thought I might miss having a proper tweeter, but I was wrong. I did have to drill a hole in the 6x9 adapters to pass the speaker wire through from the factory harness. The speakers come with a tiny amount of butyl rubber for this. I also bought some foam rubber tape to create a gasket between the speaker adapter and the door panel. Make sure to test fit the adapter rings on your vehicle before you start drilling or screwing anything in, they're not reversible and only fit one way. I suspect these speakers might sound underwhelming if running off of your factory radio. At the very least you should have an aftermarket radio or a small amp to drive these.

I replaced my dealer installed kicker component speakers from 2006. Turns out the dealer did not actually install kicker components but used OEM. Obviously, they ripped me off. However, after installing these speakers, I was amazed at the clarity and quality of the sound. Particularly at louder volumes. Highly recommend these component speakers.

    Not what I expected

I installed these in my '23 Silverado, with a kicker cxa360.4 amp...the dash speakers sounded terrible and the 6x9's dont handle volume well. I replaced dash speakers with pioneers that have a better, non paper cone And they sound much better. Next I'm going to add crossovers to the already inline crossovered 6x9's and if that doesn't help I'm going to just replace them. Not at all what I expected from kicker components. They should have included crossovers externally not just soldered on capacitors. In my opinion not worth the money at all.
