Enjoyable!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great for younger kids. It doesn't have that much replay value to older kids because they can just go outside.

Average game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great for young kids, but games do not follow real rules. For instance, when playing football, you only get 4 downs to score regardless of yardage...in other words, you do not get another set of downs when you have moved the ball 10 yards. In my opinion, this is confusing to kids learning the real rules of each sport.

Great for working out every part of the body.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was undecided between this game and "Your Shape Fitness Evolved", and I'm glad that I went with Kinect Sports. From what I understood of Y.S.F.E is that there is a lot of repetitive aerobics and if you want a little variety you need to continue buying add-ons. So far I have worked out my arms in the boxing competition, my legs in the soccer games, and my whole body in the track and field, as well as had a ton of fun playing the party mode games, like bowling and table tennis..... LOTS OF FUN FOR EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great party game!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the first game I bought after buying a Kinect. It is sooooo much fun! I really enjoyed the soccer and bowling. Volleyball and boxing was fun. I would have liked to see a basketball, football, tennis, baseball or skiing game instead of the table tennis. It is a lot of fun to play with a group of people, or even by yourself against the computer. The video it captures of you and plays at the end of the game is priceless. I also love the fact that you have the option to upload it online and share with friends.

After watching the kids... I just had to.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We has a Xbox 360. So for XMas, my in-laws bought The Kinect for our kids. They got Kinectimals and Kinect Adventures. I set it all up for them and watched as they played. After they wore them selves out I had to try it. I had a blast playing. So much I looked for a game for myself. I picked up Kinect Sports. The first time i played it I spent over 1 1/2 hours having fun. So ive spent over a week playing this game. I dont usually spend time working out. Yes, I could stand to loose a few pounds. In short ive found a way to have some fun and loose some weight at the same time. I had a couple of the settings set at beginner. The other day i decided to increase the boxing one to amateur. Yes.... it gets harder to take down your opponent. Beginner settings... you can take your time and get use to the game. Yes you can get a KO in the first round. The mini games are also fun. Ive pushed so hard in this game ive worn out my legs and arms. All for the fun of it.. I like using the mini games to cool down. Id have to say the game... or the Kinect has inspired me. Ive been staring at this treadmill for far too long. I actually use it for 1/2 hour after doing an hour and a half with the Kinect. now im looking to see what other games / workouts are available. I think the best thing about this is that our kids watch my self and my wife using our systems. My wife mentioned that if the kids see us exercising. They too might do this more as they get older and make it part of their life of health. Good Point. The little videos at the end of your challenges are also fun to watch. I know the kids get a laugh out of them.

Games for kids and big kids!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought the game so my wife would try it out; she never plays any games on Xbox...but I had her on this for over an hour the first day. Has a great variety of games. Graphics are better than Wii, and it's a workout if you really get into. Recommend this for anyone.

Great Kinect Game! A MUST HAVE!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is so much fun! It gets you off of the couch so you can be part of the game! You get your exercise and at the same time you are having a blast! The Kinect Sensor is very accurate in this game and detects every single movement of your body. Its so much fun having no controller to play this game because it makes it so easy and so much fun to play. All the games are excellent and so much fun to play! There are 6 action packed games (Soccer, Volleyball, Track & Field, Bowling, Table Tennis, and Boxing). There are some mini games too which are also a lot of fun. This game is amazing and an absolute MUST HAVE for all XBOX 360 owners with Kinect! I absolutely recommend this game! You will have a blast with all your friends and family! Go buy it now if you don't own this game! :)

Better Than KS Season 2
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't play this game too often, but when I do I remember how fun it is. The selection of sports from what I remember are bowling, boxing, table tennis, track & field, soccer, volley ball. Here are my ratings. Bowling 2/5 I've worked at a bowling center and bowl frequently so I know the proper technique. Every time I pick up the bowl, my player shakes and wiggles, and the ball goes straight into the gutter half of the time. My siblings sometimes get strikes while other times they get a gutter ball. Boxing 4/5 This game is very fun and gets your arms & shoulders very tired. You hold your hands up in front of you to get ready to punch or block yourself. When you sway your player sways with you to dodge punches. This thing is pretty accurate; however, to win is too easy. You just punch as fast as you can with the flick of your wrist as if you were punching a boxing speed bag. Table Tennis 4/5 I do not play this one as much, but it seems to be a pretty good game. Not as entertaining as the others. The accuracy of the motion sensor seems to do well Track & Field 4/5 This game I spend more time on. It includes 5 events: Sprint, Javelin throw, Jumping distance, Disc toss, Sprint with hurdles. The sprint games are all in raising the knee high with some speed. Jumping distance is about your running speed, your jump height, and if you thrust your arms forward upon jumping. The games I cannot figure out are the throwing challenges. I tried to change my power and how hard I throw the objects and sometimes it appears to be random. I believe there may be a small bug in the motion sensing for these two. Soccer 4/5 This is another game I do not spend much time on, but what I will say is that be sure to have a spacious room. I played this one-on-one with my cousin and we kept kicking each other by accident. The kicking is pretty accurate and it automatically choose which person to kick to for you. It's not a bad game, and it will leave you a little tired at the end of the session. Volleyball 5/5 This is another selection I spend a good amount of time at. I gave this a 5 out of 5 because I've never had a problem with the motion sensing on this game. This one is truly about focuses on your target. It allows you to serve, hit, and spike. I wouldn't say it is my favorite among the bunch, but the creators did a great job on this one. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a motion game. This would be great for a get together or a family night.

This is Awesome
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So there are some people out there that are whining about Kinect Sports, saying that it is just a ripoff of wii sports. But that isn't true at all. I know that after playing wii sports for 5 minutes I realized that I could play the game just as effectively sitting in a chair with my feet up. With Kinect Sports you HAVE to be actively doing something, rather than just manipulating the controller to get better results. You know the people who know tricks on wii bowling to flick the controller to make their ball fly at 100mph, but with kinect, you can't trick the game into thinking that you are awesome when you aren't. Kinect is an Epic leap over anything Wii wished that it was.

My first game is great so far
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is so much fun and very addicting. I'm not a gamer and never played video games much before. I started playing Kinect for the exercise and workout benefits. I hate exercise so I figure a sports game would be fun. I was so right. This game is so much fun you don't even realize you are getting a full body workout. The graphics are great, response is great, and the play is challenging yet you can achieve wins. I'm so happy with this game.

great for active kids
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this game for my husband to play and got Joy Ride for my 3 year old that loves cars.. It wasnt long before my 3 year old son had mastered this game. He can play the game virtually unassisted, except when the Kinect auto adjusts the tilt and we have to, tilt it back down. I am extremely impressed with the game and am floored that my 3 year old took to it like he did. I actually have to MAKE him stop and take a break because he is all sweaty and beat red from running track. Which is by far his favorite event on the game. Over all I love the game. The Kinect is VERY touchy to say the least and is frustrating for him at times when he cant find his hand or it looks like his player is kneeling. But to be fair the game does say you should be at least 40" he is 35".

Fun way to get exercise
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game really is a great way to get some exercise and have a good time doing it. Sensor picks up movements well and games are challenging as well as fun. My favorties so far would have to be the volleyball and boxing. Bowling is fun as well, but being left handed, I was having some difficulty in the kinect picking up my movements as it wanted to release my left handed throw as if I threw it right handed (ball seems to spin to the left as if threw it right handed).

Great choice for the Kinect
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unlike the Wii, you can't sit on the couch and play this game. So if you have a problem with getting up and going through the motions, this game isn't for you. But if you want to run, punch, and jump your way to victory, you're going to like this game. The track and field is great. It's similar to the 80's arcade game Track and Field except you have to run in place and jump or throw before you reach the foul line. (lot of fun) Bowling is just as good as either of the MOVE versions and beach volleyball is a little better. The Kinect feels more like you are playing volleyball than the MOVE's version. To Sony's credit, the MOVE table tennis is better because of the control over the paddle. But this version of table tennis is better than the Wii and a lot of fun. Overall I think this is a great game and well worth the asking price. Like Wii sports or Sports Champions, this isn't a game you will find yourself playing daily. But it's the perfect game to pull out when you have a few freinds over.
