Great Party Game For Friends & Family
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow is this game really fun. I don't want to knock Wii, but the Kinect just takes it to another level. If you ever played ping pong you will enjoy this game. You can add backspin and forward spin to smash the ball. Bowling also kicks butt by being able to curve the ball. Boxing however doesn't really do it for me. Blocking is a little off and punches are straight punches except for the uppercut. My girlfriend (non-athlete) has been playing this with me and she can't get enough.of it. Great party game for friends and family.

Great way for people to play sports indoors.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the fact that you can go bowling (instead of paying money at the bowling alley) at home. You can also do track and field, volleyball, boxing, soccer, and table tennis games all in front of the TV without sitting down and pushing joystick buttons. Winter months are coming, so this would be a great game to play indoors without the weather being a factor to your activities.

Awesome for everyone 8 to 88.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game was a huge hit with the family on Thanksgiving. Everyone from my 8 year old nephew to my nearly 60 year old Mom loved this game. With the great variety of sports included there is something for everyone. I also enjoy playing this game with my wife and we both enjoy it (I am a hardcore gamer and she hadn't played any video games since the original NES console a nearly 20 years ago). And the Kinects controller-less design makes it easier to play than any game on the PS3 with Move or the Wii for non-gamers and gamers alike. I can't recommend this game highly enough.

Best of wii resorts but on steroides
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is great for those who have had fun with the original wii resorts type games but kinect pushed it to the next level. It is surprisingly precise to movements, and lots of fun too. You will need some good 6 feet to play and really appreciate it. Boxing is not that different from wii, although still very fun but the rest are worlds apart. It is very challenging if you want it to be by picking from 4 levels when playing the computer and believe me it gets hard, specially table tennis. I was expecting soccer players to run but they can only kick from there place, not run at your will. Get this game!!!

Great fun!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought Kinect Sports and the Motion sports and my kids have only played the Kinect Sports. It is easy to use for all my kids (ages 17, 14, and 3) to use. It is a lot of fun! I don't work out but I have been sore for 3 days by playing with my kids so it definitely gives a workout!

Loads of fun
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very versatile game play. Party mode is lots of fun when you have friends over. Party mode changes the regular games quite a bit and adds to the fun. Lots of things to do in this game and many different ways to play. You'll definitely get your heart rate up and feel like you got somewhat of a workout when you're done playing. Absolutely recommend this game to families and for folks who like to have fun.

Very Good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really enjoy this game. I guess I was spoiled with Season 2 where I can talk Xbox commands. This does not work on this game. Also, I could not say Xbox home and it took me a very long time to figure out how to leave the game. The game and the sports are great. It is a little slow starting up compared to the Season 2 game. I am sure if I started with this game I would have loved it, but after using Season 2 first I was a little disapointed in the things I was used to not being there. I still highly recommend this fun game!

Kinect Sports is a must have!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me put this way. I took my Xbox to North Carolina over Thanksgving. I figured my son and nephews could play Call of Duty Black Ops to help keep them busy all week. Once I got there I figured I would buy Kinect and Kinect Sports seeing how it had bowling and having played bowling on the Wii I figured it would be popular. What I didn't know is that it would be so fun that we went out and bought a dance game too. Soon enough, the kids were at the back of the line. Great fun for the entire family!!

great first game
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We mainly got the XBox Kinect for our 3 year old and for us to have a little fun. This game accomplishes that. He loves the track & field and the soccer kick game. He likes to win so I can't really play at full speed but at the times he isn't playing if you really give your full effort, this game is a good work out

Fun but menu system needs work
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The games are a lot of fun but it can be frustrating just getting to them. You have to go through mujltiple levels of menus before you get to play - there should be some shortcut back to the menu to choose the type of game you want to play quickly. We especially like the bowling & the track & field

Engaging and fun for 2+ players
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a blast to play with 2 players side-by-side, with players online, and with multiple players taking turns. All kinds of fitness levels - bowling is pretty laid-back, table tennis works your arms a bit, soccer is great fun, track + field will kick your butt! All the games are pretty much technically accurate: bowling gives you the same lanes and scoring you get in real life, soccer follows the basic pass-pass-shoot and goal-kick/corner-kick rules, etc. No on-field magic pellets or hazards to mess with a good, clean game-like experience. Side-by-side play is a little tight in a 6-7 foot wide space but works fine; the recommended space is more, and I think 10 feet wide would be a better 2-person play space. Online play is a blast too. The system does a decent job of matching experience levels, especially when a lot of people are online. The see-your-video and share-your-video features are pretty cool. This is definitely a game that will make you look active and good on camera! It'd be nice if I could dress my avatar in my team colors. The game picks what you wear from its own uniform wardrobes. Maybe later someone will add real teams' outfits to the Xbox marketplace...

great activity game with no controllers needed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great sports and activity game. I find this game to keep my family moving & exercising during cold winter days. This is very fun, cute graphics and I love the running courses in the game. This is a must have to the collection on Kinect games.. Very fun.

Great alternative to standard games
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been a big gamer since the first Nintendo. I have to say this game is so much fun and is awesome to get you out of the chair. I played it hard with my kids and online the first 2 day that it took me a 3 days to recover. I work out on regular basis, but not with any intensity like this. I really got into. my calves were killing me from playing volleyball and track and field online. My abs hurt so bad that I couldn't even blow my nose from playing the boxing. My hip flexors hurt too from doing the high knees for sprinting. It is awesome. I look at it as a great way to get into shape. I'm always ready to try and break my WR times or beat someone online. I bought this for my son thinking that I wasn't going to get into this, but I was wrong. It's even has the whole family involved now that didn't happen before. Good times. I personally wish they would make a longer race to give you more of workout, but by the time I got to the hurdle race, I was beat and could barely jump for the hurdles.

MUST BUY!! Fun for all...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Finally can say this....I have been on the Kinect Beta for 3 or so months before this kinect sensor was released. I got to play this game 3 months ago and REALLY was looking forward to it for the bowling specifically. I had played bowling on WII and it was a blast. Long story short...I found I love bowling much more then WII. I was playing the heck out of table tennis as well as volley ball. Also...may partner who does not play ANY games of ANY sort...played bowling...and LIKED IT!!! I am buying this game on monday when I pick up Black Ops. This game REALLY is fun and at the price is well worth the money...as I think the kinect experience is as well....it will only get better...mark my words. P.S. Look my up on Xbox and lets play some...Proaudio150

Good use of Kinect
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A lot of the Kinect titles are simply gimmicks showing off the hardware so far, and this title can probably fall in that category as well. That being said, this game is an enjoyable little title and fun to play with friends and family. The selection of games make sense given the sensor's capabilities, and trying to outdo your friends is always a blast. This game doesn't get your heart pumping as much as other available Kinect titles, so if you're looking for a fitness game, look elsewhere.
