The game starts slow and you have to make a lot of choices about the missions. The fighting could be better and also a lot of bugs in the woods. The game crashed once after the big updates. I like it. They could have better action something like assasin creed.

    Beautiful Game

The graphics for this game are beautiful especially the environment. The combat needs some getting use to and can be very wonky at times. I've heard that the game is very difficult at the beginning and very easy late game. At the moment I'm about 70% through the game and things are still pretty difficult unless you just point blank shoot someone with a bow and arrow. The lock picking and pick pocketing is horrendously hard but they seem to have a patch in the works for it so we will see. The story is very good and the voices for the characters are good as well. The game seems to push you into doing the main quest right away due to time limits at certain points so you'll probably just want to focus on the main quest line at first. If you like rpgs its definitely worth a play but until they fix some bugs and some other stuff I'd wait for a sale maybe when its like $40-$45.

    Practice Practice Practice

PROS: Great Simulator, great graphics and lighting, can sink HOURS into this game without a thought, RPG at its finest CONS: Steep learning curve, takes a lot of practice to do anything well in this game (kind of like real life), not great voice acting, and an antiquated save system Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a great game that takes a lot of effort to get the most out of it. Most of the game centers on training, as you came up a Blacksmith's son you have no real skills to speak of and are laughably bad at nearly everything. As you play, you end up increasing the skills you use the most to create a somewhat unique character to you. Do you stab everything that moves? You will have a high Strength, Agility, and Sword skills. Do you knock out you opponents while they have their back turned and then pilfer all of their hard earned goods? Have fun with that really high stealth skill. In KCD everything matters and makes an impression. Your charisma goes up and down based on how expensive your clothing is or how dirty it is. Your actions will increase or decrease your standing with everyone from the citizenry to the guards to the different millers to make them love or hate you. With low standing you will even be stopped randomly by guards purely because they know your reputation as a thief. A few things to look out for that take a star away from this game include a very antiquated save system. While I understand the save system (it is designed to make fast travel dangerous and make you think about your actions) I still don't LIKE it. Also the lockpicking starts out being nearly impossible, but after lots of practice I can crack Very Hard locks in mere seconds.

SO I just left a review on the xbox one version, I bought the PS4 one for a friend. Its a good game, revolving on realism and historical accuracy. It started off with some bugs and issues but with the patches and updates theyre bringing I believe the game will be solid and worth looking at. Its only 1st person and kind of feels like skyrim besides the controls being very different.

This game is like if you modded Skyrim with a hardcore mode, only without the fantasy stuff like dragons. You have to manage your hunger, sleep, and dress in dark colors to help sneak better at night. People will even comment on the cleanliness of your clothing (or lack of). Some quests are extremely in depth and have hidden options that you can discover. But because it's so focused on realism there are moments where the game can be a bit dull. You only ever fight other humans and the world has a lot of empty space, as it did in the 1400s. You have to really know what you're getting into with this game to know if you'll like it or not.

I got this on sale and I'm kind of glad I did. The game is good and nails the setting perfectly. However the gameplay is really deep and isn't as accessible as other RPGs. Do some research before you buy it to see if it's your kind of thing.

This game is a lot of fun, but it does have some glitches. For me there were and still are texture pop ins. The gameplay is new, fun and challenging. The combat is not hack and slash. Sometimes you will face enemies that are easy to defeat and other times they will challenge you. There are a lot of missions in the game. Expect to spend more than 60 hours playing the game. It is a lot of fun. The developers War Horse are still updating the game and adding free content as well as DLC that does not seem to cost an arm and a leg. The developers listen to their customers and take their constructive criticism into account.

The gameplay and graphics are nice and the setting is great. What really holds it back is being a pc game ported to a console with controls not best suited for console gamong

Not much hand-holding, which is great, since it encourages creativity and thinking. The realism and design is very refreshing and fun. And the game doesn't wait for you either, there are quests you may fail from simply neglecting them for too long, which adds to the realism. There are multiple ways to finish each quest, so choices do hold weight, unlike many RPGs nowadays that only give you the illusion of choice. The combat is slower paced and requires more thinking, which I love. The con of this game is bugs. You may run into some, which could be frustrating, but the devs are passionate about the game and are hard at work to fix them up, so it's only a matter of time before the game gets more and more polished.

This game has the makings of a modern classic. Everything is deep and immersive, the characters and story are well-written, and the world looks beautiful. Havent been this immersed in an RPG since Morrowind. Easily a GOTY contender.

I knew this game had some issues before I bought it, but I thought most of it had been taken care of by the massive patches Warhorse had released for it. I can't even imagine the original state of the game then, because the bugs that are in it now are pretty terrible. You can certainly still play it, and I've not encountered a game breaking bug yet, but it does really break immersion. NPCs act odd, textures fail to load and pop in is ridiculous. The story is fine, and I like the characters, but it's hard to recommend this game. It's my first regretted purchase of the year. I'm glad I got it on sale at least.

This game flew under the radar- maybe the title, maybe the uninspiring boxart, or maybe the early bugs. Fortunately the bugs have been pretty much eliminated (I've found) and the experience is a blast. If you enjoy meaty rpgs, this one is worth sinking hours into.

The concept behind this game is cool. You must eat, sleep, and heal yourself like you really would in real life. Also, you don't just know how to fight with weapons, you have to train. Few glitches here and there, but overall great game that you can easily put 100 hours into.

I like this but it falls short in a few areas. I like the aesthetic of this game a lot. The battle is a little sluggish but that is by design as this isn't fantasy and more based in realism. The story is pretty good and has it's turns but not going to blow you away.

Got this for $16 with GCU and it's definitely worth that. Bugs on the PS4 made it hard to recommend at least full price but it's definitely a fun title if you are willing to invest the time into it. Will most likely be forgotten over time though.

This game is a slow start. It took me about 12-15 hours to really get to place where I was really starting the massive open world game. Once you get to that point, it's tons of fun! It is still glitchy though, but patches have been helpful.

One of the better open world rpgs this gen that gets ignored. It's a sim knight game base on 1400 Bohemia/Europe. Get the Royal edition if your gonna purchase since that one included all the dlc.

While plagued with many bugs and some minor issues, this game is a great new take on Medeval games. No magic or spells nonsense. A relistic and gritty game that has me coming back for more.
