A confusing trip
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This title is an odd one at that. The story leaves one baffled but then again Kingdom Hearts is really good at that.

if you know the story you will not be disappointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're a fan of kingdom hearts you will not want to pass up on this game, the story itself brings together what has been 10 years in the making and prepares you for what we have been waiting for since the secret video in kingdom hearts 2, the 3d is outstanding and the combat system is remarkable for a portable, even if you only play the game once it provides 30 hours of solid gameplay, the story does get cheesy at times but if you've already played through a few of the games you know who and what sora is, someone who would do anything for his friends, there are many different types of gameplay from the pocket arena mode you can build up dream eaters, dropping into new worlds uses the 3d to its full extent and the touch screen is used with minigames called reality shifts that change depending on the world you're in. The score in the game is amazing as well, if you've played the games you'll love hearing the tunes again, and the haunting remixes in the later levels. All in all its a solid purchase worth the 35 bucks,

Another great Kingdom Hearts installment
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The story of Kingdom Hearts finally continues with this being after KH2 while also being something of a prologue to the inevitable KH3. Uses the same deck command system from Birth by Sleep while adding in the now Flowmotion combat system which makes the fighting more intense. The new Dream Eater partners adds a little bit of Pokemon to the game where you can pet and play with your partners which also help them level as a result. Also has a sort of journal which chronicles the important events of the previous games which helps bring newcomers up to speed. Great game for those getting into the story and sure to please any KH fan as they wait for the inevitable release of the third installment.

Excellent story!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is amazing! When I played the demo it was awesome, but when I finally got the game it was even better! The story line is awesome! As Sora and Riku go to 7 dream worlds to wake them from their endless sleep! They will encounter new friends and old ones! And will encounter Xehanort as he tries to thwart Riku and Sora off. the best part about this game is the Drop system! Where you have a certain amount of time before you're character goes to sleep and switched to the other character, like if you're Sora and your drop gauge is depleted you'll fall asleep and switch to Riku! Same goes for Riku as well! Not only that but the two characters get countless of moves found in chests or from nurturing spirits! So that way you cant try all of the moves and see what fits you! Not only is this awesome but you get 50+ allies! And they all have different or alike moves, skills, blocks, boosts ETC. This game is very epic, in both combat and story but sometimes when there are too many enemies you sorta lag but its no problem. And not only does combat and the story line make this game epic but the Intro of the game is just amazing as it reviews KH, 358/2, KH 2 in the best graphics I've ever seen! Square Enix has done a great job and I praise them for this game! Good job!!!

A complex gameplay with twists and turns!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's very amazing. The plot is mostly about Riku and Sora taking their seperate Mark of Mastery Tests in the same world, they are far away from each other. Both of them go through their seperate paths, but they sometimes may see each other. They both go into Dream World (a dreamy version of the world of course) and do missions. [Including] The World Ends With You characters (I think) will awe gamers and players of the two games alike. And.. for the last summary fact, they defeat [Dream Eaters] (I think).

Great game for the KH fans
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Kingdom hearts the family friendly game that is actually well done and fun. This iteration is an expansion of the current story, but it will also bring you up to speed if you haven't played all of them. The gameplay is refreshing and well done. Go buy the game. Don't read about it and ruin it for yourself. Let it surprise you and enjoy the ride.

Great Game, better than the first one
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this is a pretty surreal Game. The gameplay is much easier than the first one. I'm glad to see that the developers chose to make it more user friendly, but it could have been a bit more challenging. The gameplay is improved. The graphics are awesome, great fighting scenarios, and a nice new worlds like Steamboat Willie. The only thing I don't like is that the it is little too easy, and a little too long to get into gameplay. Too much talking, and not enough fighting. Otherwise, I enjoyed the game very much, but most importantly my young nephews were able to play it and enjoy it.

Overall, a pretty enjoyable game for KH fans
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're a fan of the kingdom hearts series, this is a pretty decent game overall. The camera controls and control scheme turned me off at times, but I solved that with the circle pad pro, so honestly there aren't very many complaints with that. The biggest complaint I have is the story: it's just not very good with the dreams and stuff... Otherwise the gameplay is great and you get the classic core KH gameplay that you're used to seeing. Difficulty is right on point and overall it's a very enjoyable game, especially if you get it on sale!

Great Action RPG for Kingdom Hearts veterans
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review."Kingdom Hearts 3DS" is a very bright and colorful adventure. You take the role as two Keybladers training to become more powerful for future's evils. New enemies and friends come along for the ride with many Disney characters galore. The game is a must get if you're a Kingdom Hearts or Disney fan, or both. Although I felt like Birth by Sleep was like a rehash of most things, save for its spell system, due to its prequel nature, KH 3DS feels more refreshing even if it does have old characters and locales coming back.

good 3ds game
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am A HUGE fan of the kingdom hearts series and this is definitely my favorite nintendo 3ds game.but its no where near KH and KH2 I'm not saying thats bad but it could have been longer and I hated the drop system still its a awesome game but it can't measure up to the ps2 titles or BBS its still a awesome game and I recommend it to any KH fan and ONLY KH fans.

Fun game with crazy story
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This series is great, and the 3Ds entry is a worthy contribution. Glad that it was on my list and, frankly, was a reason I bought the system. Te story is a bit confusing and convoluted p to put it lightly. Te graphics are awesome, especially for a handheld game. The sound is quite good, and will bring you into the gameplay. It can be challenging at times, and a little frustrating, but over the game is fairly solid.

Continuation of a great series
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an interesting game. I will say this, If you have not played Birth By Sleep or any of the previous titles on the DS, you might have a hard time understating the storyline of this game. Even though the game does give you a background information on previous titles, it will really help if you recently played the previous titles. Aside with my issues with the storyline, the gameplay is quite addictive. You play as both Sora & Riku in each world one at a time. The free-flow gameplay adds a more interesting twist & allows you to reach up higher areas very quickly after you have gotten used to it & adds powerful finishers whenever you execute it while battling heartless. The new feature of recruiting monsters and making them you partner while they fight with you is a very nice touch & makes it more of a customizable gameplay with each creature you obtain and level up. If you have been waiting for Kingdom Hearts III, make sure to pick up this game due to being the main background of the storyline of what is to come in KHIII. RECOMMENDED
