Great KH game but not the best
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like any other Kingdom Hearts game, this one is a good one too, but I played better ones. Things that I like about this game are the combat, RPG elements, audio, characters, the 3D graphics, and story. But I don't really like switching between teams. It is quite unique but I am not use to it yet. Overall, it is still a great game and I would recommend it.

Great addition to the KH series
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game starts just after Kingdom Hearts 2 and after Coded so before playing it be sure to have played KH1 and KH2 (and even the inbetween stories if you can like Birth by Sleep, Days, CoM, and Coded). Story: Enticing and keeps you hooked in most of the worlds you encounter. You now have Dream Eaters as partners to help instead of the usual Donald, Goofy, or special NPC guest from the worlds you visit. You also use the 'drop' system to switch between the 2 main characters - Sora and Riku. Gameplay: Combat is well polished and makes good use of the Dream Eater. Playing on the harder difficulty can be hard, but well worth it if you want to obtain more trophies to your collection. There is also a Dream Eater battle arena. You're pitted against other DE and try to open the best cup place. The system works on a 3v3 scale and uses a card system like a previous system in KH:Chains of Memories. You chain cards against each other and the one with the highest digit will do damage generally. If both parties do equal amount of damage you enter a slot battle in where you try to line up 3 of the same cards before your opponent does. Re-playability: There are many trophies to obtain in the game and a harder difficulty to unlock once you beat the game. If you happen to do all that you may step into the Dream Eater battle and play against other people! Other notes: Many other thoughts can be added to my review, but if you know what the Kingdom Hearts series is about and enjoy previous games, then this is worth it for you.

A step in the right direction
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance is a great new installment in the franchise, continuing the story and includes plot developments that will lead into Kingdom Hearts III. The gameplay is like any of the "standard" Kingdom Hearts games but it adds new features like the ability to kick off walls and glide through environments; which may not seem like much at first but they greatly enhance combat and exploration. I had been growing tired of the franchise's stagnation but Dream Drop Distance has revitalized my interest and convinced me that there are still new ideas to implement.

Great Addition to the Kingdom Hearts Series
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really enjoyed this game, and felt it was worthy of belonging in the series. The graphics were great for a handheld and the story was good as par the course. The only downside was that it didn't scale as well on my 3DS XL as I would of liked, and looked a little to jaggy around the edges. I'd definitely recommend this to any KH fans.

Excellent game and storyline
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is another Kingdom Hearts game that once again adds story to the main story line and links up other Kingdom Hearts games. Play this game in preparation for the next Kingdom Hearts game that will be released.
