I buy these lower capacity sd cards for my game cams and security cams. They seem to work just fine. I have found them on Ebay for a little less ( I mean pennies), but I simply don't trust ebay sellers the same way I would trust Best Buy.

I was looking for a 8GB card in the store, and their prices were really high, so i went online and started reading the reviews on different types of 8GB cards and decided to buy the kingston 8GB. Best decision i ever made!! My daughter graduation pictures were perfect!!

I have the option to purchase memory from many different sources. All other things being equal, I purchase from Best Buy because of speed of delivery, and convenience of return (if need be). This memory works fine.

Can never have enough memory for all the pictures I take. Very satisfied with price and quality.

I have a Canon XTi which uses a Compact Flash card. I found and bought a SDHC-to-compact flash adapter so that I could use SD cards in my camera and utilize the SD card slot on my MacBook Pro to transfer photos. I previously bought a PNY SD card just for external storage for my Mac and it worked perfectly with my adapter (perhaps a little slower than usual). However, this Kingston card cannot be read by my adapter. I've changed the formatting but an error always prevents use. I've studied the specs of this card and others, taken into account the limitations of the adapter and certain hardware, but I cannot figure out what is wrong. That, my personal caveat, aside, this card has worked well as a storage device. Since I don't have a camera that uses SD I cannot speak to its primary purpose, but read speeds from and to it using my MBP's SD slot and using a card reader on other computers are quite nice. I've also used it to transfer photos and movies from these computers to my iPad (via Apple's camera connection kit) to provide external storage for that device. The card is perfect as a storage device. It cost me a little over $1 (end of year deal, Reward Zone certificate... only had to pay shipping) so I can't complain for it not doing what it wasn't specifically made to do. Storage is nice (my other 8 GB card can hold over 4000 photos from a 8MP camera). If you use a camera with SD this device should serve you well. Using it as removable storage (like a thumb drive) will work as well.

Great card for the price. I needed a backup for a point and shoot, and got this 8 GB instead of a 4 GB card because of the price. I'm definitely not disappointed. The card holds a ton for the camera it's used in and there were no issues transferring files via a card reader. Get it on sale, and it's a steal.

Kingston Technology - 8 GB Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) purchased online is a good deal. The brand name of Kingston is a great value. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for extra memory.

Bought this to use at the beach for all of our pictures and it has so much space its a great product

For some reason the data could not be read by my game console but it is probably just the console and not the SD.

Its really great if you are looking for 8GB option. I found it fast enough to copy/write data in this price range.

Using in an older Garmin GPS. Speed wasn't an issue just needed more capacity for the maps.

It is good product and in affordable price. I am using it in my camera, easy to transfer pics to my laptop.
