The Kingston Wi-Drive provides additional storage capacity for iOS devices and is also easier to update compared to linking iOS devices to iTunes etc. Charging and copying files to the device is accomplished by connecting to a USB connector on any computer. Linking an iOS devices is simply a matter of connecting to the appropriate Wi-Fi networked created by the Wi-Drive. It's expensive for the amount of storage and the total storage available is not huge - but for what I use it for its perfect. My only compliant is that there's no security when you plug it into a computer. Anyone could access the files provided they have access to the device.
