Worked right out of the box. Very simple and quick. Works through iPhone earphone jack which is being deleted so this device will be obsolete soon.

If you are using it with iPhone - be sure to purchase lightning adapter (original one). Most of generic will not work. When using thermometer - put your volume to max (this is important). Measurement is very accurate compare to ear thermometer and process taking less than 10 sec.
