You can’t put in the exact time you want. You must go in 5 second increments. Very dumb. It does not heat evenly. Huge disappointment KitchenAid.

Nicely styled built in microwave

The last one went out and Kitchen Aid was awesome in getting us a partial refund to purchase a new one. The size is unique so we went with the same model and heard they upgraded the technology. Worked just fine before it stopped.

The " door" inscription would come on whenever a time was set and then wouldn't operate.

Great Hi grade microwave for home or work

Only downsides: since door opens downwards (towards you); a standard cabinet install makes it kind of high. Also, no "timer" with beep if you are using an oven and don't have your phone handy. Other than that, no complaints. Such an easier to use and intuitive control panel vs anything else I've ever used.
