I had a different one before and I was so annoyed of trying to grab the little price of bread out. This toaster doesn’t have that problem. The lever lifts it up higher than other toasters, which makes grabbing small pieces of toast or pop tarts easy. Also makes a beep when the toast is done.

Only drawback is that it stops just shy when it's done toasting and pops up. You have to pull the lever up in order to grab your toast out. Other than that slight annoyance, it's great!

It is also a very good toaster if you are just looking for a two slice toaster with single side bagel feature.

Provides nice even coloring across whatever we toast. Toasting process seems a bit slow, but I'm not overly patient when I'm hungry... So, it might just be me!

We LOVE all things kitchenaid, and are so glad we chose this one. Looks great on the counter and does what a toaster should. Definitely recommend!
