My old Whirlpool died and after much research I selected this model Kitchenaid. Decided not to purchase three rack unit. Have used this one only three times but is extremely quiet, does an excellent job cleaning my dishes and all the dishes are dry unless something has a dip in it and you might find a few drops. The outside finish is no fingerprint finish and I really like that feature. I would definitely recommend this model and as I replace appliances I will replace with Kitchenaid.

Absolutely can’t be happier with the purchase. My old dishwasher failed and I needed a replacement after reviewing several models I had taken the advice of the sales associate as I narrowed my selection down to three units. Are used to think my old dishwasher cleaned our dishes, well now those same dishes look amazingly clean. Our glasses and pots and pans come out spotless and dry with no water marks or streaks. The dishwasher is so powerful but yet so quiet we don’t even know that it’s running. It wouldn’t even wake a sleeping baby if the crib was right next to the unit.

This is the absolute BEST dishwasher I have ever owned! This KitchenAid dishwasher runs exceptionally quiet! It cleans exceptionally well! AND it dries both the dishes and tub exceptionally well! Gorgeous finish, as well! Beware: I would NOT purchase any KitchenAid model lower than this one. The others don’t sufficiently drain the tub and ultimately emit a “stale smell”

Have been using this dishwasher for a month now and no problems at all. It cleans very well and is very quiet. The instructions state several times to make sure you use a rinse aide to make sure everything dries. Drying has been great along with everything being clean after washing.

Easy to load, holds most anything, super quiet. The efficient mode is somewhat slow (3 hours?) but the quick wash I think uses more water and works well and is quite quick with cycle time more like our old builder-grade dishwasher. Heated Pro Dry burninates dishes pretty dry (don’t burn your hands though, metal and glass get hot!) We didn’t want to deal with cleaning a filter, so far the self clean filter seems to work well enough. Got a good price on sale at Best Buy too. Had about 6-8 months, probably run 200+ loads so far. Time will tell if premium was worth it, but so far satisfied.

This dishwasher works - it is very quiet, but most importantly, it actually cleans dishes, pots and pans, glassware, stainless ware, plastic containers, everything I have placed in it. (Even my plastic containers are coming out noticeably cleaner with each wash.) And this dishwasher actually dries my dishes. Glasses come out sparkling - no spots or residue. I do rinse items before I place them in the dishwasher. But no longer do I have to thoroughly hand wash them before and then sometimes after. And I do not have to use a chemical drying agent to get clean and dry dishes. (I must note this dishwasher manufacturer recommends use of drying agents; but my experience with this product is that I don’t need them to get the excellent results I am getting.) I replaced a 2012 Bosh which was so disappointing as it neither cleaned nor dried the dishes. I had to thoroughly hand wash everything then use the dishwasher to “sanitize”. I do not like to use the chemical drying agents which were a must with my old Bosh - and the drying agent always left a noticeable residue that I could see and others could taste. Perhaps drying agents are not an issue; but why should we have to use extra chemicals for our dishes? Shouldn’t soap and water be enough? (I must add that I also have another Bosh dishwasher in the basement which is older, somewhat noisy, uses lots of water - not high efficiency - but really cleans the dishes - and they come out nearly dry - without using a chemical drying agent.) On my new dishwasher, I have used most of the cycle choices. I have found the pro wash cycle, the normal soil cycle, pro dry with extended pro dry, to scrub, high-temp wash and Sani rinse to produce excellent results. My combinations generally take 4 hours so I run overnight. I have also used the express wash with pro dry which takes about one and a half hours. Dishes have come out clean but there is still some water left on the tops of items in the upper rack and on all plastic items. I also highly compliment Best Buy on their customer service. I used their website for the purchase. I followed up by phone with my concerns over whether it would fit my space. They sent a team out to measure and set my mind at ease. The delivery and installation was very smooth by a completely professional and personable technician without any issues. I did purchase the extended warranty offered by Best Buy as I have read that this manufacturer has had QC issues with these products.

Did a lot of research before buying. This is a fantastic dishwasher. Dishes come out sparkling clean when used with a rinse aid as recommended. Sitting 10 feet away, you can’t hear it running. Top display shows total time remaining, while front display shows current cycle. Dries dishes very effectively even without using the Pro Wash cycle with fan, and just using the heat dry cycle. When using the Pro Dry cycle, do not open the door as soon as the cycle ends; the dishes will be extremely hot. Let them sit with the door cracked open to let them cool for a few minutes. This dishwasher received a better rating than Bosch washers from Consumer Reports.

We love our new dishwasher because it is quiet, cleans the dishes really well, and most important, the pro dry feature actually dries the dishes. The cycles are longer but this dishwasher performs better than any other dishwasher that we've had.

I researched the various products when my old KitchenAid was making a lot of noise from the motor, and decided to purchase this unit based on the high reviews from Consumer Reports. I was surprised to see within the KitchenAid brand, the dishwashers had a varied ranking where some models were not as good as this one. It is very quiet, cleans the dishes well and has a great panel that shows where the machine is in the cleaning and drying process. The installers were terrific and it was included in the price. Very pleased with the overall experience with BestBuy and the product.

We particularly loved this dishwasher for the Kitchen Aid reputation of a thorough wash but without the branding on the front. This makes for a sleek and clean appearance with no fingerprints on the front of the door.

We have a 'great room', so having a quiet dishwasher is important to us. Our previous one was a Bosch which was quite quiet, but this one is even more so! It cleans very well. We got this model partially because there is no maintenance and it will get rid of baked on food by itself. It seems sturdier inside than my previous dishwasher and has a drying element, which - it turns out - is great.

If it is possible, then I confess I am in love with my dishwasher! Mr. I’m Into You, aka-the dishwasher is so quiet I forget he’s doing dishes and oh how he cleans & shines them! The dishes come out sparkling with no water spots or leftover food hitch hiking on them & the silverware shines like new. I have dropped water down the front of the door numerous times & there is never a streak to be seen. No evidence of finger prints either. Just in case you’re wondering what gift to get him for doing such a fantastic job for you, he likes cascade pods & rinse aids. If you bring him home for breakfast, lunch or dinner, I think you’ll be very happy you spent money on him.

This is the best dishwasher we have owned. We have owned 5 houses and replaced dishwashers in the past. The main feature we were looking for was drying without a rinse aid. This dishwasher does not need to use rinse aid to get your dishes dry. Also, the interior panels of the dishwasher are also completely dry. We wash our dishes on Pro-wash and Pro-dry. For the first time we put dishes in the dishwasher that are not rinsed and they come out clean. The plastic cups we put in the dishwasher come out dry with no condensation. The dishwasher is very quiet and the front panel shows when the machine is washing, drying and is clean. We also wanted a print free stainless exterior. This KitchenAid PrintShield is great! We have 3 grandchildren always running around our house. Prior to this KitchenAid we purchased a GE PDT715SYNFS. Stay away from this GE dishwasher! The first time we ran the GE our Corian countertop got extremely hot. I called GE and waited 36 minutes, then they were going to schedule a service call, but since I do not live a major metro area (Tucson Arizona) , they said a third party service company would call me within 48 hours. I did not receive a call. So I contacted GE again and again no one called. I returned the GE and purchased this KitchenAid. I am planning on replacing our refrigerator, microwave, cooktop and wall oven in the near future. I now sold on KitchenAid products. If other KitchenAid major appliances are as good as this dishwasher, I will be very happy!

The dishwasher is attractive and fingerprint resistant. It cleans dishes and pots very well and dries thoroughly when used as directed. It is extremely quiet and easy to operate.

After reading many reviews, I chose this unit. It is very quiet and gets the dishes cleaner than my previous GE dishwasher ever did. The only noise we hear is the water draining when it hits the sink drain. I love the adjustable racks and the excellent use of space. The time remaining display is visible even though on top of the door. There is also a display on the front showing the words "washing", "clean", etc.

Excellent dishwasher. This dishwasher is quiet and cleans dishes very well. We would definitely recommend this dishwasher to anyone looking for a top of the line reliable product. One of the most impressive features on this dishwasher is its display. From the display, you will know when it is cleaning and when it is done. We think it is a great value.

We replaced our 15 year old GE dishwasher with this Kitchenaid. What a difference! This dishwasher is really quiet & our dishes come out perfectly clean & dry. It's also nice not to worry about fingerprints on the stainless steel exterior. After owning this dishwasher almost 2 months, we are very pleased with this model & would highly recommend it.

Pleasantly surprised how quiet it is. Seems to clean pretty good. I'm still trying to figure out the stacking of the dishes (not as defined as my previous washer). I do wish the normal cycle wasn't as long as it is, but that's what happens with the more energy efficient machines (I read).

This dishwasher is amazing! We bought this one to replace an older Kitchen-Aid. I thought our old dishwasher was quiet, but this one is almost silent! The display on the front is subtle but good for letting you know approx. how much time is left. The dishes come out clean and dry! What more can you ask for!

Love the look, does not show spots. This thing is Super Quiet, can't even here it when your standing right next to it. Lots of features for soil levels. The only negative is that any dishes that have bottoms that can hold water will not dry out, you'll be left with drying those by hand. Still a great buy
