This Kitchen-aid dishwasher is excellent in all aspects. The controls are convenient to use, and the interior layout is great. The stainless steel interior and outside are easy to keep clean. The dishwasher is very quiet. Best of all the dishwasher cleans the dishes extremely well.

This washer replaced a 22 year old model that was not getting anything clean. This washer is quiet and with the rinse aid, leaves no spots. Rinse aid is added about once a month, my guess. We don't wash dishes every night so maybe more often for some. Dishes load easily and it holds more than my last washer. The cart comes in and out smoothly. I've seen other models cart come easily come off its tracks. Dishes take more than 2 hours to clean on most settings. Longer than my other washer, but now that I know this, I just plan accordingly. I've owned this just over a month and so far I am quite pleased with my purchase.

This is a very nice dishwasher. Everything is cleaned well and it is super quiet. I miss having a small items basket but will improvise. Can fit more in this than my old one. Pleased with purchase

We splurged on what we thought was a high end dishwasher. It arrived approx 3 weeks after ordering and I self installed. After the first wash, we noticed that the dishes were not drying at all. Read the manual and discovered we needed to add "Jet Dry" solution. This made a HUGE difference. After 2 or 3 more cycles, we noticed water leaking out of both sides of the doors. Called Kitchenaid and had a service appointment. Turns out the door didn't latch properly and the Jet Dry container had a major leak. After the repair, it seems to be fine, but have no trust in due to issues already.

Excellent dishwasher for the price. Good quality that really does the job

We purchased this dishwasher after researching quite a few models, and brands. The dishwasher looks very nice in our kitchen. It is extremely quiet. We do like the adjustable rack feature. Our complaint is that it does not clean the dishes as well as our previous dishwasher. Unless we rinse them off pretty thoroughly there is sometimes food left on the dishes.

Excellent unit that is very quite when on. Large silverware holder which many machines don't have.

I like the quietness of wash cycle. As I read in other reviews, the wash cycle seems quite long compared to my old dishwasher. But I set it run in the evening before going to bed.

Over all a good machine for the price. It seams to be good so far Would like to see reviews two years after sale.

I bought this item together with a KitchenAid fridge and also the trash compactor a month later - saving for the matching stove :) The 3 appliances look great in my remodeled kitchen. My old appliances where all of different makes and it was just a hodgepodge. This dishwasher replaced another brand and was in place in about an hour - easy replacement. The stainless steel interior looks so much nicer then the old plastic one. This thing is so whisper quiet compared to the old one. Cleans great, have never had to clean something by hand after a cycle. My only complaint is the placement of the silverware basket, which goes down the right hand length of the lower level. My old one was in the front.
