Extremely quiet, you will need to put your ear up to it to know that it's running. You pay what you get, very pleased with this dishwasher.

This thing is extremely quiet, and I've been happy with cleanliness of dishes. Despite hard water there is far less minerals/film, not even enough for me to notice if there's been any. I've stood next to it and wondered what a sound outside is, only to realize it's the dishwasher. It does have a long cycle, but for me the quiet is more than enough trade for that.

We have to put our ear to the unit to make sure it is running. It cleans well and has a drying cycle to finish the job. The side mount clamps are included and help with a quartz top. Having a full door gives a lot more room in the dishwasher.

Does not clean dishes. Greasy residue in filter after every load...even after washing a box of brand new dishes. Told by service tech dishwasher is working properly and I just need to clean out filter after each wash. He said residue was soap and hard water. This residue gets on the dishes. If filter is not cleaned after every wash, it starts to smell bad. I've had 3 service techs out. Each says they have not seen this before and tell me the dishwasher is working properly. Very disappointed for a $900 dishwasher that I now have to wash dishes by hand. I will never buy Kitchen Aid again.

I've had many dishwashers in the past, but this dishwasher beats them all! My dishes came out sparkling clean and glassware and silverware where the cleanest I've ever seen. In addition, the machine was so quiet while running that I didn't even know it was on. Well worth the money. The only negative I could find is that it runs for about four hours.

This is the quietest dishwasher ever! You have to look at the light to see if it is running. The dishes are absolutely clean. We had a small amount of water spotting but once the rinse aid was adjusted properly, the dishes are spotless. At first there was an annoying odor when the cycle finished but after a few washes, this odor has disappeared. Overall I am very impressed

We've now had the washer for well over a month. The most impressive quality is by far it's quiet operation. Dishes come out clean and never need a second wash. The only minor negatives are that dishes don't come out completely dry and it is diffiult to tell where the fill line for the rinsing agent is. Overall a great purchase though that we are very happy with

Love how quiet it is but still need to make sure to rinse everything before putting into the dishwasher. Otherwise not such great results.

I will speak on behalf of my wife since she is the one who uses our new KitchenAid Dishwasher. This product is substantially more quiet than our previous dishwasher and our dishes are noticeably cleaner. For the price range, the product provides all the options that we were interested in and the controls are well laid out and easy to use.

This dishwasher is stylish, functional and quiet. It is so quiet I can only tell it is running by the light. It does a great job of cleaning the dishes, and unlike the Bosch and Miele, it has heated dry which is a necessity for things like plastics that would otherwise pool water. I love the third tray for utensils. Highly recommended.

Totally awesome experience! To start with the dishwasher itself is fantastic. Cleans very well and so quiet I have to check the light to see if it's running! Then there was the install team!! Courteous, On Time, Every Promise Kept! Gave assurance about the dish soap we were considering. I just can't say enough great things about the team!

We did tons of research and landed on this one. There's plenty of stainless steel options on the market. This one stood out from the rest. The third rack is great. The many wash options, plenty. The quietness is crazy amazing. It's also one of the few brands that still have heated dry which we love. You can't go wrong with this dishwasher.

Appliance is quiet and efficient. If there is a criticism, the dry cycle could be a bit more effective.

This dishwasher is the quietest I've ever owned. It replaces a 15 year old whirlpool that was very noisy. You can really only ever hear water trickling or a cycle starting. It does a great job if you use the recommended dishwasher pods. I'd recommend this over a Bosch - which is a great brand too...but this one has heated dry.

Great dishwasher. Super quiet and the racks move seamlessly. Only complaint is the drying feature doesn’t work as good as hoped.

This KitchenAid dishwasher is awesome. Cleans great no pre-rinse needed. It is extremely quiet. At first my family was asking if it was running. This is a high quality well functioning American made product. It replaced a Bosch and I will never go back quieter and cleans better. KitchenAid is high quality and a fair price.
