Most notable is that it is so quiet. "Whisper" quiet is an accurate description. It also loads very efficiently. It is laid out very well for maximum efficiency. And it looks good in black with the silver handle. We love it.

This review was encouraged as a Best Buys point system, so take it with that grain of salt. So far, and it's only been about a month and a half, I love this dishwasher. The third top tray doesn't always fit the not so flat large utensils but I think what does fit there well comes out clean. I do like the extra high temp and sani rinse and other features that add sparkle. I do like the wine glass holders. How to fit the dishes all in is a new issue but we're getting used to it. I love the delay feature so that I don't use up all the hot water at once if running the clothes washer and/or someone's taking a shower/bath. It's a pretty stainless steel inside & out too. No regrets. It was only $100 more to go for this many more features from the one we almost bought, and well worth it.

Very nice dishwasher with a lot of features and options for cleaning. Very quiet and good looking. No matter for how long dirty dishes stay inside until I start it, they come out very clean. I usually run it twice per week.

Amazing silence of this dishwasher, very satisfied with perromance

We have an open concept kitchen that opens to our great room where our TV is. We were tired of having to do dishes only at night. We were originally considering a Bosch, but then we read reviews mentioning a mildew smell. When we went to our local Best Buy store, we found out from the sales person that the Kitchenaid d/w was the only one that still has a heated dry cycle available due to energy efficiency "limitations". We chose it and as long as we use a rinse aid and the heated dry cycle, there is no problem with left over water and mildew. It is SO quiet, most of the time you can't even tell it's running unless you look at the lights on the front. My only complaint is that the grid that goes over the top of the silverware holder has holes that are too small for our silverware so we had to take it off.

We had always had Samsung appliances and this last batch didn't ever last 3 years before they started dying 1 by 1. We decided to go with KitchenAid and love it! It's super quiet, dishes are always clean and loads nicely.

Dishwasher does a fantastic job. Super Quiet. Did remove the plastic top for the silverware basket that washes them standing upright. Didn't like that feature. Easy enough to remove. Makes it a fantastic dishwasher!

All of the creature features are great. I love the adjustable racks, the utensil basket and the third rack. It is so quiet I am really impressed. Plus it really cleans the dishes well, everything comes out spotless!

I checked all of the rankings and ratings to find the best dishwasher and Kitchen Aid was ranked the best for a dishwasher with a heat dryer cycle. This unit is great! It is super quiet and does a great job cleaning the dishes.

Was worth the extra money for the quieter model. Other than water to the sink would not know it is on. Dishes are clean. Spots liquid dispenser is hard to know when full or not. Has the product for a couple months.

Extremely quiet and thus far has done an excellent job of washing even the dirtiest of dishes. Dries very average, but I've never owned a dishwasher that actually got everything completely dry. Overall very happy with purchase.

3rd time is a charm! I initially purchased an 800 series Bosch but it didn't clean well, especially the plastics. I then changed to a different 800 series Bosch and had a similar issue. Best Buy worked with me and let me trade out a 3rd time - I went with this Kitchen Aid and so far it has cleaned everything well.
